Dr Shibuya is so amazing. I have never had such a thorough examination like hers before. She explained every detail and options available. And she really took the time not only to get me in to see her, but to explain things and not just rush me out. The technology she uses for xrays was very comfortable, and photo imagery really shows you the extent of what needs to be done.. "We visited Dr. Kint to get a second opinion for my husband. We are new to the area, and the first dentist we saw was very aggressive in his treatment plan- three crowns and five composite fillings which would’ve cost us over $3300. His reason was: “preventative dentistry”. He said it would save him from having to do more work on my husband in the future should those teeth with large amalgam fillings ever crack or leak. For the teeth that has some staining, he wanted to treat with composite restorations. However, not all teeth that are stained are considered decayed. My husband visits the dentist regularly, so he was shocked and left his office feeling terrible about his teeth. Preventative dentistry also means regular dental visits so they can keep an eye on things and treat when necessary. Dr. Kint took the time to review my husbands X-rays and complete an oral exam. His whole approach on dentistry is exactly what we were looking for. I’m used to old-fashioned dentistry and quality of work. Dr. Kint is very kind, professional and knowledgeable about dentistry. His office is very clean and his staff are lovely. Rosa at the front desk is wonderful and helpful. We will continue to come here even though they are out of network. It’s so hard to find a good dentist that doesn’t remind you of a car salesman. Although my husband needs some dental work, it’s not a $3300 treatment plan. Turns out he doesn’t need any crowns, just a few fillings."
