"Dr. Barakat is passionate about delivering exceptional care to her patients. Her state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide comfort and outstanding dental outcomes. She has proven herself to be the best dentist I’ve ever met (I’m 81 years old) – this may not seem worth mentioning, since people proclaim similar platitudes all the time, but I’m sure everyone who writes a decisively positive review for Dr. Barakat is sincere. At a recent appointment, as part of her standard practice, a blood pressure test was administered. Dr. Barakat alerted me that the reading was high, advised me to reschedule my appointment with her after discussing the issue with my MD, and because of her personal input and concern, I subsequently received appropriate blood pressure medication. The entire team at 32 Dental Arts (Dr. Barakat, Amber, Erin, Elena, Jenny) is professional and awesome, qualities that contribute to an overall uplifting atmosphere. Beautiful scenes of Boston (a city special to both Dr. Barakat and me), showing the city in each of the four seasons, are displayed in each of the four treatment rooms for all to enjoy. The soft background music (instrumental/classical, not “Muzak”) is relaxing. The office is equipped with modern dental equipment, so procedures are less invasive and less painful than those performed in the past. "Dr. Barakat and her team are literally the best. Every interaction I’ve had with her and her office is truly like dealing with friends. I’ve been going to this practice since before Dr. Barakat was running it, and the way that this entire office vibe lit up when Dr. Barakat came in was very noticeable. Honorable mention to Elena, the billing BOSS!!! I broke a crown and insurance was being ridiculous about covering it because it wasn’t old enough. Elena made me fully aware of this possible issue as soon as I arrived to my appointment and there were no surprises. I prepared for insurance to do what they do and disappoint me, worked with Elena in correspondence back and forth with them to answer all their additional questions, and THIS SUPER HERO DID IT! Insurance paid! I didn’t have to fork over my first born child. Kenya is also awesome and fun to talk to and interact with.. everyone here is awesome! "As a new patient, I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Barakat and her practice. I definitely had a 5-star experience with the doctor and her staff. I sent an email through the website indicating I had some pain brewing and requesting an appointment as soon as possible. I received a callback from Dr. Barakat within the hour offering to see me later that afternoon for an exam. After a very thorough exam, we went over and discussed the findings and treatment plan. Dr. Barakat seemed genuinely interested in my oral health. I've only met one other member of the team, but she was equally fantastic. I haven't been this comfortable in a dentist's office in many years."
