"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! PLEASE BE ADVISED CHECK YELP ALSO!- this was our factual experience-with documentation to prove all stated: We found out after our experience unfortunately A+ (A plus) Dental and Implant Center in Mira Mesa Hmart mall area is Unaccredited by the BBB with an F rating. They say misleading things such as “yes we ACCEPT this insurance” making you think they’re in network which is NOT correct(Delta)THIS MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE as they can charge whatever they choose instead of what the insurance co. charges for services. The prices they charge are very HIGH. The 3rd party loan co. they use only allows 60 DAYS to contest ANY charges they bill for. Even if they never do the work, They get paid for work NOT YET DONE. BE WARNED! They have kept $1112.50 of unused care credit we had left when we asked for itemized documentation. They claimed “took back loyalty discounts” presented at the time of service &we had agreed to by signing paperwork. They REFUSE to provide copies of this paperwork in spite of many requests. No dental codes or work showing for the outrageous charge $1609.60-just adjusted AT WILL. First they tried to send us a BILL for MORE $ then they offered us a small settlement for a fraction of the amount when questioned- We clearly DECLINED the “settlement” amount & ALL TERMS that remove our 1st amendment rights. They still tried to say we agreed through our process of email negotiation but once we were furnished with the legal agreement document to review & saw their terms we flat out said NO. We did NOT sign their document. They tried to do some back & forth with us still only offering a small fraction of our rightful return. We felt it was pointless to do this back &forth manipulation game. They're just trying to make it APPEAR that they’re doing the right thing. They should have just returned the money instead of trying to be deceitful and dishonest! We believe they will never return the rightful amount of $1112.50-they have yet to do THAT. They COULD choose to simply return it. Maybe a miracle will happen and if so I will update our experience when we see our rightfully owed funds returned in total and posted back to our loan balance. But funnily enough… it’s like “pullin teeth” dealing with these people. We have NO reason to trust them at this point. Why would they need us to sign settlements if they intend to do the right thing? JUST GIVE THE MONEY BACK and it would be settled. Seems simple enough. It appears their main goal is to attempt to silence and manipulate their patients so they don’t speak out about these ridiculous and illegal business practices. I will say they just, after all this hassle, they returned about 1/3 of what they owe us even though we DID NOT reach an agreement. So that was nice. We’re still waiting on the rest… I guess we’ll see. Meantime, we’ve started(began the DAY after we declined)receiving lots of spam emails and texts. We feel the timeline of this is not a coincidence and it’s likely a form of harassment by them. The dental assistant was allowed (unsupervised) to use the drill on my teeth, took 6 X-rays(one sitting)on one spot claiming she couldn’t get a good picture-only stopping when I told her to. Incompetent and illegal for her to perform tasks only the dentist should be doing. Both my husband&myself have had fillings the Dentist installed FALL OUT shortly after. We are anticipating them coming after us, FOR REPORTING THEM, also. We have so much documentation on all of this it will just make them look MORE foolish and bring PROOF to our claims even more. They have had SO MANY public complaints, how they continue to be in business is beyond ridiculous. In doing our research it shows local NBC did a story on the unethical business practices in 2015 of the dentist who did the work on all three of my family members And her alleged husband “office manager “ We intend to file a criminal complaint against them if they try to collect more money from us or sue any of us we will add more criminal charges against them for ATTEMPTED intimidation."
