"Derek gave me the best haircut I've ever had. Between a heat wave and a Corona home trim, I was ready to abandon the albatross of long hair around my neck. I explained my idea to Derek with vague buzzwords and flapping hand gestures, and he nodded sagely. He sized me up as quick as a surfer checking Swami's during a south swell. After a flurry of snips and clips, I had transformed from a frumpy top-knot basic girl to a fun, chic sophisticate. Derek has the talent to bring out the best your hair has to offer, and he's a super nice guy on top of it. The salon is extremely clean, light, and airy. Derek had wonderful (and practical!) advice on how to maintain my new style.
