My Kid's Dentist

"I wish more moms gave reviews on this place because it would’ve stopped me from taking my 3 year old daughter. I found out after my visit unfortunately that a lot of other moms had the same experience as I did. This dentist office told me that my daughter needed a root canal and also had 3 other cavities. For the treatment the only option they gave me was to sedate my 3 year old. I was not comfortable with having my 3 year old go under and they responded with saying they know best. I had a bad feeling and decided to get a second opinion. The second opinion said she had two cavities, no root canal needed and that the other “cavities” are just discoloration spots. I’m so glad I went and got a second opinion. Be aware of this place as they are a complete scam."

"I brought my son in for some work, actually a lot of work and initially I hesitated to bring him back…. But one of my family members that brings her kids here said try another dentist she’s great! She was very patient with my son. The dentist we initially saw, not at all, Kelly Kim. So I took a chance and had to reschedule once due to Covid 19, all good no biggie. Got the work done had to get an anesthesiologist, who doesn’t work for the company.. a contractor but I had to put a deposit and then I’d pay separately for his services .Honestly it seemed rather high as far as the amount, over $1k for an hour and a half. Before I came in I called my insurance company and found out that I could be reimbursed for this due to my son having special needs but they required this be noted on the paperwork that is submitted with the claim. Of course I made the front desk aware of this and even asked the dentist Karen Mak to please be sure to make notes as this was the 2nd attempt to have the work performed and the initial attempt was without anesthesia. This is 9/07, why can’t I get the correct document? I’m baffled how this one paper takes so long to obtain. I’ve called and emailed so many times and stopped by the office only to be told that I’ll have it soon, full of excuses and not once has anyone followed up with me. The lack of communication and professionalism is what makes me so upset. But they sure are quick to charge the insurance and out of pocket costs! I left a message for the office manager asking for a call back, nothing didn’t hear back from her. Krystle the office manager, doesn’t manage. I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore, at least not this location. Over it! Update 10-20 ****Why are you waiting for me to call you, I’ve left a message for the office manager to call, this is ridiculous. I’ll be there again in person on Monday.*******"

"Amazing experience from start to finish. Scheduling was a breeze, they send text reminders (and not just one) which is SUPER helpful for the multi-kid over-tasking Mama! The staff is all very kind, friendly, and VERY well versed so each stage is quick and painless!!! Very clean, organized, and their team work was spot on making things flow seamlessly. Having appointments on Saturday, LIFE SAVING! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Murrieta MyKids Dentist and the staff. Aaaahhhh-mazing!!! My daughter is 10 and even said “Wow! That was WAY better than anywhere before. I like this place.” Highly recommend!!!"

"We have always had the best experience here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. And they always accommodate me bringing my 3 kids in at the same time. Dr. Mack is the absolute best with the kids. My kids have had to have some dental work in the past and every time has been a fantastic experience. She is so engaging with the kids when “getting rid of the sugar bugs” aka filling a cavity. 10/10 would recommend bringing your kids here!"

"Absolutely love this place. They are amazing with kids, make them feel super comfortable and safe. They always have a movie playing for the kids to keep them entertained during their cleaning/procedures. For once my kids aren't scared to go to the dentist! They recently started orthodontics as well. He is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend."
