"We got a mail flyer in October 2023 telling us about this new pain relief company called Neurogenex. It listed numerous illnesses that they treated in a non prescription clinic. They used Hi tech machines that were placed on your area of pain and electrical impulses kind of like a TENS unit, BUT MUCH a stronger over a 2 hour period along with IV with all kinds of vitamins, herbs, etc going in your body and nutrients. One of the issues they specified in helping people with, was peripheral neuropathy of their legs and feet which my husband has had severely over 20 years. I called the phone number on the flyer as they were accepting new patients at the brand newly built facility in Goodlettsville, TN. About 3 weeks away from his first appointment, we got a call stating that the office quite wasn’t ready to open, due to no furniture and desk set up. Actually their marketing department had sent the mail flyers out about a month too soon. So, disappointed we were having to wait until the office indeed was ready to open. About a month later, we received a call stating they were now complete, office was ready to accept patients and the receptionist was going down the list . I told her we were so excited to be coming in and trying what sounded like this new age of treatment that no other physician over the years had been able to ease my husbands pain except to keep him drugged up which is not what he wanted. His first appt was the first week in November we both went together and he was their second patient to be seen that morning. It was a beautifully decorated office and the rooms were so nice. The treatment rooms had nice reclining chairs, a television and they offered cold drinks and water. There was actually a young lady there from their Corporate office. She said she travels to every new opening and stays a couple of days to assure everything and everyone know their job, the machines are working well and there aren’t any kinks anywhere. We were so excited because after my husband received his first 2 hour treatment, when he got up to,walk, he said he couldn’t tell he had feet except to look down and see them. This was the first time in 20 years his feet were on the floor PAIN FREE. They stayed pain free for about 4 hours, then gradually the pain began to return which the Doctor informed him was normal. However the more treatments he had, the pain would overtime begin to last longer periods until after several weeks, there would be very little pain if any. We were getting ready to leave in 3 weeks for a 2 week cruise. The office scheduled him to come in 3 x a week over those two weeks making him have 9 complete treatments before we sailed. He went in the next day, had a treatment and again, his feet felt great upon leaving. The Dr. assured us by the time we left to cruise, that the treatments he had had, would have helped him so much, that he felt him walking and doing things would be a much happier experience for him with little foot pain. The third day for his visit, he was surprised when he drove into the lot there was a sign on their office door stating” Office temporarily closed & please call (and a phone number) . He had received no notice of his appt cancellation from anyone. The number he called went to a recording. The next day, he also drove to the office and the sign was still there except now it said “OFFICE CLOSED, please call that same Number. Well I called and finally spoke to someone at that phone number only to be told, that the office wasn’t AGAIN ready to, open, they had some Corporate issues and they were not sure when they would re-open. I told the lady that someone should have been calling the patients that were already coming and explained this to them and cancel their appointments before they drove some distance to get there. This is December 23rd, 2023. The office is still closed with the sign on door and phone number. John & Deborah Dyer Hendersonville, TN"
