Vintage Crossing Apartments

"Ethics are in short supply in 2023, so maybe it's just common to get slaughtered on a move out inspection?! We left the place in immaculate condition (minus a couple of reasonable exceptions), but they proceeded to add on ridiculous fees and charges until I appealed. They will do anything to keep a security deposit. I would NOT sign a lease here again! There are other honest management agencies/landlords that don't unreasonably expect a tenant to carry investment costs. I kind of expected them to charge a fee for consecutive year leases because they lost the opportunity to lease it out again each year - they obviously didn't, but that was the level of absurdity. • Building E is infested with termites. When I notified them, WE had to pay a pest control fee! Ha! What a scam! • The property is poorly lit, parking lot lamps on west side have been out (and reported) for over two years. • Management will threaten the community to obey public area rules but *never* enforce them; dog piles all over the place, and a broken down vehicle remained unmoved for over a year. • Mold reported in our unit multiple times, but not properly addressed, and by the time we moved, had become a medical issue. Management stated "we wouldn't call it "mold" but these stains," (for liability reasons, I'm sure). • Dryer exhaust is poorly designed. The first floor apts had difficulty drying due to clogged dryer exhaust; reported but not properly resolved. It was a nice apartment, safe area, great neighborhood, decent neighbors, and the location was excellent. I'll add more photos later for support - we have a ton more."

"Bait and switch. after showing me an apartment for a price the price went up by $150 / mo. when I went to apply. They tried to tell me the one they'd shown me was rented, but it was not. Also, rather brusque and rude in general."

"We've lived here over a year and we love it! The complex is kept up very well. The grounds have a beautiful pond. Pool area, gym and clubhouse are great. And, it's right across the street from Old Hickory Lake! All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful."
