"I have known Dana for close to 6 years and have been following her stylist Instagram page for just as long. I would see her photos of before and after hairstyles, highlights and haircuts and was always in awe of her work. My biggest regret is not having booked my own hair appointments with her much, much sooner. Had I done so, I would've avoided terrible haircuts, bad hair color/highlights and styling issues. First, I love having a stylist that I can book appointments online and easily reschedule if need be. And from the moment Dana put her hands on my hair, felt the texture, studied the color and haircut, I knew it was the best decision having made my first appointment to my subsequent appointments with her. I explained what I had been unhappy with: my hair color turning green-ashy, uneven hair cuts, and just my overall disappointment with not having my hair the way I truly wanted it to be. She talked me through the hair color process and that the years of not so great dye jobs would not be corrected in one visit, and would indeed require 2-3 visits, but she sure was able to do a FANTASTIC job on my first visit. Now after 3-4 visits, my hair has bounced back. It is finally healthy again, and the color is something I have been coveting for a few years now. Dana is amazing at her craft and has a vision for perfect hair color and cuts like no other. The base color of my hair finally matches my natural hair color, which I prefer in the reddish-light brown hues. She gave me the MOST BEAUTIFUL and natural highlights I have ever had. They are so lovely and exactly what I have been wishing for. Her attention to every little detail, her very thorough shampoos/conditioning treatments and scalp massages complete what is a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. I always had an issue with leftover color not being washed out properly and my scalp would itch for days after, not anymore with Dana. Best decision I could have made was booking my hair appointments with Dana. I can't wait for her own salon to open. Wild Poppy in Whittier, so excited for this!"

She had been my first real stylist about 20 years ago and I ventured away for some time only to realize that she is where I needed to be. Dana gets my hair! She gets my hair because she is a pro at what she does. She truly is. She is knowledgable and invested in her craft, and it shows. She spends a significant amount of time on teaching me about my hair needs and is up front about what she knows will or will not work based on my hair type. I appreciate that. She doesn't sugarcoat anything and will not try to appease me with some wild idea I come in with, she'll let me know if it'll work on my unruly mane and make suggestions that will lead me to my end goal. And not only is she good at what she does and makes me feel great by working her magic with my hair, but she's funny and fun to be around, too! She makes the time go by and is great at conversing about anything and everything. Love her and how I feel after I see her - never leaving her again, she's not getting rid of me, I'm here til I turn to an every four-weeker and beyond!"
