"This is the WORST I mean ABSOLUTE WORSE dental spot in california!!! ***DO NOT COME HERE*** I can promise you, you will regret it. I went to get my root canal redone from the endodontist and he was soooo disgustingly rude. He was very sarcastic and rude at the very beginning putting me down about my root canal . I then asked for his name and him and his assistant said “it’s Dr. Big head” and I thought that was a little weird until later I found out that wasn’t his name but he calls himself that because he says he knows it all. I was trying to ask him questions about my root canal and he was just texting on his phone and said “look this is gonna go one of two ways either I’m able to save ur tooth or I’m not simple as that” I said okay are there other options if you can’t? “He said very rudely “there’s always other options the question is can you even afford it?” During my dental procedure he even began to talk inappropriately about how his wife was good last night and that’s why he’s tired to the Medical assistant and then said I would tell you more but I’ll explain later “ so disgusting!! Mind you at the beginning of my appointment I was asked if I wanted to pay 100 dollars for a certain medicine they will use during the root canal that’s not covered by my insurance or do I want to use the one my insurance covers and well I chose the one my insurance covers because I did not have the funds. So they did that. Now my root canal was done and successful and two weeks go bye for my next set of root canals to be done on the right side and I get a call saying I will have a co pay of 100 dollars and I said for what?!! My medi-cal covers everything they said “ the doctor will be using the medicine ur insurance doesn’t cover it’s his reccommendation” I said well I’m declining it, I don’t have the money the office manager then stated “we can push back your appointment for a matter day when you can afford it “ I then said no I don’t want that at all and she said “ you don’t have a choice it’s the doctors choice” long story short I told her how he acted and how rude he was and she said “well since you now stated you aren’t comfortable with how the DR acted with you I will be withdrawing your authorization and you can go elsewhere and she hung up on me” this was the WORST WORST experience I ever had!! ‼️‼️‼️UPDATE‼️‼️‼️ Found out the dentist name it’s Dr. Samir kamrani!!!! DO NOT let him do your root canal! Office manager is “gabby” she will also treat you horribly if you complain make sure it’s not to her!! CONTACT THE DENTAL BOARD ASAP"
"U get what u pay for. Got sent here and let me just say not good. Ended up going somewhere better and the professionals told me that the dentist drilled to much of my tooth for a root canal they started there but never finished. You wait even if you are on time and the parking is not good at all"
"I had an appointment with an endodontist who made rude comments about my gag reflex. The doctor did not attempt to provide any comfort to me and proceeded to administer two numbing shots without forewarning about the pain. After administering the shots, the doctor informed me that the second shot was going to be painful very sarcastically then proceeded to tell me the procedure could not be performed and sent me home with a numb face and no work done. This situation is unacceptable. Additionally, I paid out of pocket for a medicine that was not covered by my medical insurance, and when I asked about a refund, the doctor responded disrespectfully, stating, "why do I need your money," and laughed. This endodontist's behavior was highly disrespectful and unprofessional. Furthermore, he failed to consider my traumatic experiences with past dental appointments and did not offer any options to help me relax, such as laughing gas (which had already been charged through medical insurance). The only suggestion the endodontist provided was to seek another facility that could accommodate my gag reflex and while doing so, still continued to make rude comments such as "I'm shocked you were able to get fillings done." I request that this endodontist be held accountable, or alternatively, I seek a complaint to the Dental Board of California for the improper and outrageous techniques used by this endodontist. And I want to be compensated for this unprofessional treatment."
"Doctor is good, however the service quality of the front desk has gone dramatically since our 1st visit 2 years ago - They schedule really tight between patients, over booking then over run…….. last 4 timesof my visit I had to wait around 35 to 45 minutes before being led to the prep room."
"I happen to come across this dentist office because my bf came here and said he had a good experience. So, he gave me their number and I called to make an appointment. The appointment process was easy, I spoke to the receptionist by the name of Luis. He was so nice and mild mannered. Something about his voice was comforting and welcoming. I say that because I’m sure a lot people could agree with me, the dentist is not everyone’s favorite place to be. I came in for my appointment and was greeted by Luis, still got the same welcoming presence. I was taken to the back to get X-rays and had a discussion with Dr Kim. He told me what concerns and what areas needed attention. He also advised me on what he thought was the best fit for me. I always felt uncomfortable about my oral situation but I knew the longer I waited, the issue could get worse. So, I went along with the plans he had set for me. He made sure to get everything done and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. He also addressed all my questions and concerns. Dr. Kim is very honest and realistic on the decisions he makes so I appreciated him for that. He’s a good doctor and I wish more doctors were more like him. My experience as an adult visiting the dentist was superb. They always took me in on time when I got there, I never had to wait around. It felt like the employees were one big happy family there, they all worked so well as a group. Like you never felt like someone was off their game. Claudia was also amazing when she came to consult with me, very thorough and I also felt comfortable talking to her. I would definitely recommend this office to my friends and family. I’ve been to other dentist office and it’s either they’re behind on schedule or the front desk wasn’t nice and if they were, they were fake with you. I never felt that way at Atlas. Thanks Atlas for making my appointments comfortable and easy to be at."
