"So, I have been coming here for the past two years. And I absolutely love how nice the staff is. Especially the people who work in the front desk. They know my name. Last time I came in. I was offered a glass of water. But the highlight for me was my interaction with Brian. I told him that I was a bit anxious about the procedure I was going in for that day, and the fact that he came back in the room to have a conversation about what music I enjoyed, definitely helped with easing my anxiety for sure. His interaction alone just made it so much easier. But I also especially have to highlight the interactions I have had with the hygienist. It is practically understandable to see why practically your whole front desk talks about how amazing she is. And I definitely could not agree more. When I was talking to her, it didn’t feel like I was talking to a hygienist. It honestly felt like I was talking to a friend of mine. And yes, even though it may be a small thing, as someone who is a survivor of abuse at the hands of a dentist when I was a child. That definitely helps. And as I write this I’m almost going to going to tears. Hey it is amazing to see that every person I have interacted with has been extremely caring about my needs. And it was extremely nice of the hygienist to remove the film from my mouth when she was taking x-rays because of having some sensory issues particularly in the back section of my mouth. But the thing that made my day in particular, was when I finally had the courage to open up to the hygienist about the abuse that I had suffered. Even she was able to tell that it was difficult for me to remember. And yes, it definitely is a bit of a touchy subject with me. So it is definitely nice that she let me know what she was doing before she did it. And also allows me to raise my hand if I feel any discomfort. Never have I experienced such an amazing level of care. And yes it is true. When I am in the chair, I feel like I am the most important person in the chair. Doctor Newcomer is also very cheerful as well. When I went to last time. She even complemented the shoes I was wearing. Of course she did not have to. But that definitely made the interaction a lot better in my opinion. But most of all, what I do like about this office is just the energy. Everyone just seems so nice to be around. Everything feels clean. And it definitely is nice to see that an office is taking that seriously. Especially with all of these bacteria‘s in things going around."

"So unfortunately I made the mistake of visiting the office of Maria Elena Newcomer back in 2021 and well it was probably the worst decision I’ve made to date. I went into the office just for a routine cleaning - I had no problem with my teeth and had never had a cavity before. They took an x-ray and claimed I had a small cavity. I was shocked, but let them fill it in. Immediately after they put the filling in my tooth hurt so badly, I kept calling the office and they told me it was normal to have discomfort after a filling. Shortly after I was on a work trip and the filling fell out, and the sensitivity was horrendous. I was in so much pain I couldn’t even drink water without getting a headache. I called the office and they said they would fill it in when I got back in town, so I stupidly trusted them and went back. They proceeded to drill my tooth even more and replace the filling. Long story short the pain just got worse so finally they decided they should give me a root canal. At this point I was so upset, so I decided to seek the care of another office (which had much better reviews), they asked to see the original x-rays (I had to call the Maria Elena Newcomer's office multiple times and FINALLY they sent me the x-ray images). The kicker is that the new dentist looked at the images and told me there wasn’t even a cavity on that tooth. Thousands of dollars later I had to get a root canal for no reason because of these scammers. Anyways this was in 2021 and I wanted to write a review then, but was trying to be optimistic… Sadly these people keep haunting me, even when I moved out of the state! Yesterday I received a weird letter in the mail that was sent to my old California address saying I have a “Current balance: 0.00” but a “Total Balance: 107.00” so I called the office and was transferred numerous times (each person as incompetent as the last), to finally be told they don’t know what the charge is for (“some billing numbers” they don’t understand) and that I should call back again when the billing woman was around, oh and by the way she doesn’t work Monday, Wednesday nor Friday... Anyways these people are the WORST save yourself money and your adult set of teeth and never go there. P.S. also when I got my root canal here, the doctor “missed the correct nerve branch” and completely numbed the entire left side of my face, I didn’t get feeling back until the next day."

"I was told about this Dentist office by a coworker. She told me they do good work for a reasonable price. I checked the place out & ended up taking my daughter there to have 2 of her teeth pulled. The dentist did a wonderful job! They are professional & quick to get you an appointment & a job well done. I highly recommend them. :)"

"Far exceeds expectations. After entering, the woman at the front desk knew my name before I even made it to the front desk. She was friendly, helpful and took time to know me. The waiting room and treatment rooms are clean, welcoming and relaxing. The dental assistant in training and dental assistants I met were all friendly, knowledgeable and comforting. The hygienist was also extremely kind, well-informed and answered all the questions I had. Dr. Newcomer made me feel secure and in good hands. I was in for a filling but she wanted to make sure I had my teeth cleaning done before any treatment. Because of this and to prevent any inconvenience to me she performed my two teeth fillings DURING her lunch break!! Her staff and her worked diligently to prevent any discomfort and performed detailed and thorough treatments. I highly recommend her office to EVERYONE looking for a trusty, comfortable and enjoyable dental experience. Personable and relatable overall."

"I have been coming to Dr. Newcomer DDS for over 20 years. Excellent Dentist she has the best staff in the world! Absolutely recommend Dr. Newcomer and her team! Since day one they have always been very honest and made sure any procedure I was getting was done as smooth as possible with state the art technology. The office team is beyond helpful and efficient. Dr. Newcomer and her staff take their time and never rush to check everything thoroughly and took all the necessary x-rays. The amazing front desk coordinator was very helpful make sure my insurance worked out and I'd be covered as well as gave me a referral to great Orthodontist for my daughter. I just can't say enough.
