"i was disappointed by this experience. i found the salon quite unwelcoming (e.g. no one was there to greet me and i had to ask around for help once i had waited for 15 min past my appointment time). the salon also felt messy and disorganized. my esthetician was on her phone half the time and approached me with a demeaning tone asking if i was getting my nails done for “a school project” (i am in my thirties and was getting them done for a book launch event with Simon & Schuster…). the manicure itself was underwhelming. very few tools were used, the massage was non existent, the polish was applied sloppily, i left with polish all over my fingers, there were air bubbles and it smudged 5 hours later. and for $50?! completely overpriced. the only benefit was the non-toxic polish and i appreciated the esthetician’s patience as i decided my colors. however i will not be returning."
