"This was the worst experience at a medical professionals office ever. My husband and I wanted to change dentists and were referred to Anacapa Dental. We made an appointment to go to the office and “interview” Dr. Saj Jivraj. We were given a tour of the office and then talked to the office manager, we talked with the Doctor and were quite impressed. So we made appointments for our cleanings and filled out a bunch of forms to request records from our prior dental doctors. We had to wait well over a month to get in and we were assured that they would have all the records they needed by the time we had our appointments. I arrived at my appointment 5 minutes early. The waiting room got uncomfortably crowded while I was waiting so stood outside for 15 minutes waiting. When it was 20 minutes after my appointment time and I did not get called, I went inside and asked how much longer I would have to wait, I was told “ we are a little behind today” I said fine I will just wait inside. After 5 more minutes I was called by another employee to come in. She then said I will take you on a tour of our office, to which I replied, I have already taken a tour of your office. She said a room still was not ready for me, so back into the waiting room. I waited another 10 minutes and then was brought into a room. They said they were going to get X-rays of my teeth, still no dental hygienist was around. I said I just had X-rays at my prior dentist and asked if they had all my records that I requested they get. They did not have any records even though they had several months to obtain. Seems they did not even try. I left after driving 1/2 hour to get there and waiting 45 minutes with out seeing anyone. The office manager said she would contact the prior dentists for records for both my husband and myself and let me know when she got them so we could then schedule appointments. This was a complete fiasco. In the time I was there at least 7 patients came in and were taken back for care. Needless to say, this office just lost two potential patients."
