"I was visiting from out of town for a three day filming commitment when I realised that I had made my appointment at a local blow dry bar for the wrong day. Little did I realise but this was the best thing to happen as I ended up having Nancy look after me instead. She listened to my needs and went above and beyond. I was so happy with Nancy’s work. It was also so nice to be served so professionally in such a warm and inviting salon. All of the other hairdressers were so lovely (and the haircuts going on around me looked excellent). Would definitely recommend Nancy and the Haven Salon. Hopefully I’ll be in town again and will be able to return for another blow dry."

"Nancy saved my hair! I had a horrible haircut done somewhere else. The layers were choppy, it stuck up everywhere, it was uneven, and I had no idea what to do with it. I was in a panic. I reached out via Yelp and heard back almost immediately. They were able to squeeze me in last minute (within the hour) to try and fix it. I thought I’d have to start new and cut it all off, but she was able to soften everything and made it look so good! She was pleasant and easy to talk to, and the salon was very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place and won’t go anywhere else now."

"Was in town for vacation, and wanted to get my hair done. I called hoping to get an appointment last minute, and was thrilled when they said Nancy was free. I’ve never been happier with the cut and style I received. I wish I lived here, Nancy would be my go to stylist. Everyone at the salon was so kind, and made me feel so welcomed. Thank you for such a nice experience, and the best haircut!"

"I just had to leave a review for Beatrice. I’m from out of town and was so lucky to get a last minute appointment before my birthday :) Beatrice was so amazing from start to finish, I told her my concerns with how dead my hair felt and how I wanted my color revived. She gave me her suggestions and saw through my worry (with color) and reassured me I would love the end result and she was not wrong I’m so blown away by her work. The salon itself is absolutely fabulous, I felt so comfortable and the owner Brian greets everyone with so much hospitality it was amazing. I had a Brazilian blowout and some color gloss all over treatment. I just wanted to say thank you so so much, I’m beyond happy."

"I went to Haven salon to get a hair cut and full highlights last week. Their website stated that these services would cost $270, and as a college student, this was my maximum budget. I made an appointment for these two services but when I was checking out after my hair was done, I was shocked when I was being charged $390 without tip! I was appalled. She had done a $120 toner to my hair without consulting me first. There was no point during my visit where she had told me (or asked) she was doing this to my hair, yet charged me an EXTRA $120 for my visit. When asking for my money back, I was offended when my hair stylist, Beatrice, blatantly lied to the owner about having a “consultation” (I had never had a consultation) where she had “told me” she would have to do a toner to my hair. In addition, she had lied about needing to do highlights for 5 inches of hair growth, when during my visit she explicitly stated she was working with 2 inches. I was never given my money back, and I feel robbed. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SCAMMED!!!!!"
