"I have been seeing Dr. Camillo for years. I love him and I trust him with my whole heart. I need a back surgery that he said I need to have. My insurance will let me go to a Baptist facility and it will let me go to St. Francis but if I go to St. Francis, it will pay only 50% so I spoke with him about it on my last visit which was several months ago and he agreed to do it at Baptist Collierville. I have yet to hear back from him. I have called several times and still nothing. I can’t tolerate this any longer. He is forcing me to go to someone else, someone I don’t know and I don’t trust because I don’t know them. Dr. Camillo, I’ve never been so disappointed in a doctor as I am in you. I never thought you’d let me down in such a way. I am so hurt and angry at you. I thought you cared but clearly you don’t. You clearly don’t care that I now have to start from scratch and I will just have to remain in pain longer because I have no choice but to start all over somewhere else. I don’t know how to even feel about this situation anymore. I will say that you have caused me so much anxiety and stress. I could be on the healing end of things by now, but no, I am back at square one."
"Dr. Camillo is the greatest, hands down. From the moment I came in, he addressed all of the issues. After my surgery, he has been the best, by helping me through my recovery. He's always available when needed, even if it's for advisement. Diane is a godsend as well, she's so sweet and caring. They are so much better than the big name facility a few miles away. Thanks for all you have done so far"
"I was the second person to sign in and they couldn't find my paperwork. They asked why I was there. After an hour they found my file. Two hours later they told me they needed me to come in the next day for the injection. I waited for 3 hours to be told to come back the next day. Judy told my attorney they had no issues finding my file, I had a witness. I would not trust this office at all. When I was called a week later, Judy was extremely rude, and I felt Judy did not like that I called them out for false statements. Judy said they can't guarantee your appointment time because they see 50-60 people daily and are over booked. I cant speak for the doctors here, but the office is not ran well and that let me know not to trust them going forward. I will be finding someone else for my nerve blocks. Work on your customer experience. Your job is taking care of clients. They are the reason you have the job. Side note, an elderly lady waited 5 hours to be seen from the morning shift. The staff went to lunch and left her there, and would not see her until they returned. Another example of this office. Good luck!"
"Dr Gibson is a wonderful and knowledgeable physician. Very professional, and very compassionate as well - a trait sorely lacking in many physicians. He is current on all the latest and best treatment for back injury and disease. Both Dr Gibson and nurse Lori FNP are fully qualified to treat pain, and the care and compassion they show their patients is phenomenal. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking relief."
"Doesn’t care about addressing current pain or root cause. Ignored my neck pain. Ignored my back pain. Very presumptuous. Zero compassion. Belittled prior specialist diagnosis and I basically wasted my time. Their website says they help with many things which they don’t. Got the overall impression that they simply didn’t care and didn’t think I was worth their time. Still in pain, still no hope. Did an xray but based on my prior history an MRI is needed for my neck and back. An xray is insufficient, inferior, and he knows that. The doctor was able to see my images from a 6 month old disk that I brought and kept asking him to take a look at. There was no post operative MRI for my neck and he didn’t care about looking into it. I am in pain and he was completely uncaring about it. He just wanted to debate about about what he would or wouldn’t have done versus another surgeon and specialist. He brings up things about what did I pay them and made inaccurate statements about if my insurance covered my last surgery and they did. My surgeries were peer reviewed more than once and he continued to make poor remarks about the prior facility. He was extremely bias for no reason. I didn’t come there for that. I shouldn’t have ever been put in that position. I came there for help. I came there because I am in pain right now and needed to address my current issues. He belittled my past surgery saying it wasn’t effective but I told him more than once I had some good results from my prior surgeries but not all was addressed at that time and I have residual effects that I’m not happy with and pain. The doctor spent about 40-45 min with me but it was not helpful and mostly him just being negative and giving his personal feelings about prior specialist and then asking me about other treatments from a year ago that had absolutely nothing to do with today… nor my spine. This entire encounter was bizarre. I moved back home to TN to be around family and my care is on hold because I can’t find any decent doctor. Dr. Camillo wasn’t effective and his bedside manners are poor because he brought me to the middle of the office addressing me. Whatever happened to patient confidentiality? Doctor’s really get beside themselves nowadays and it seems everything is just about money and power. In fact on my first appointment I showed up to take my xray at their private facility downstairs and was told I would have to pay $300+ dollars for xrays. They knew I wasn’t in network and instead of informing me allowed me to come there 7:45am in the morning to tell me then. Why will I do that when I have insurance. That’s the purpose of insurance. I spoke to the doctor that morning and he said its about the money and I said it should always be about the patient. I continued to be confronted by their office staff about why I didn’t use their facility when they already knew why. I wouldn’t recommend Dr Francis Camillo or his office. I have 3 MRI reports but could only find the first oldest one in my phone but I have several issues all of which are listed on their site and nothing was addressed. After I pleaded with the doctor asking to be referred for a facet block or nerve block he said I’m the doctor and I get to decide if I want to help you with your pain or give you a shot. We are all going through things in life but whatever we are going through we should always be kind. He had no empathy. That’s sad to see in a doctor. I treat everyone with kindness and respect. I have empathy for others. It’s hard on me. I have pain pills I don’t even take because they don’t help the pain. After I pleaded for help since I waste my time and money to come there with no treatment he said he would refer me to another doctor for a shot and to see Dianne on my way out. I was told Dianne was not in and Michelle who is very pleasant and the only good professional interaction I had didn’t respond when I sent a follow up request. All I can do is pray and ask God to help me because so far the doctors in this area don’t care. I’m going to see a neurologist and try to find another doctor."
