Reviews
"Dr Ligh was so kind and thorough in evaluating my baby for a tongue and lip tie. We went through the same process in San Diego and felt like we were at a tongue tie factory… Dr Ligh was thorough, patient, and personable, and really took the time to explain everything to us and ask questions. He makes himself available via text to all his patients and really goes above and beyond."
"This review was for December of 2018, lot of changes in life and i never got around to writing this review. We were suggested by my lactation consultant to visit Dr. Ligh for checking lip and tongue tie for my baby. We had to get his ties revised soon but we were given an appointment for December 22 only to be told that they don't operate on that day because the next few days were holidays, why give me the bloody appointment then? I could have found someone else. Then they only got me an appointment for January 18. With ties time is of importance, due the baby being unable to extract well, Ive gone through major hell and saw all kinds of breastfeeding issues caused by improper latch due to ties, then infections through cracked nipples and it ultimately cost my breastfeeding journey by the time the appointment date came, no accommodations were made even when the urgency was conveyed. I ended up in the ER. Ultimately the doctor refused to operate on my babies lip tie because his pediatrician had already operated on his tongue tie and that we didn't go to him. What use is a practice if its not for the patients best interest."
"Great dental practice for kids. My youngest has been going there ever since she had any teeth. Brief of my kids are the least bit scared to go at all, even though the older one already had to go through some fixes after damaging his incisors."
"post 2: This is probably the worst dental clinic I've ever seen in the states. There is no creditability of the clinic at all. Though our insurance clearly states 100% coverage, we've been told that laughing gas would not be covered and we should pay for it. So we did. But then when we were at a different clinic, we were told by staff there that our insurance actually covered laughing gas. We also received a bill of full dental clean cost 2 weeks later. Our insurance was not sure why we would receive a bill and did an investigation. It's actually the clinic that found it too much work to do the claim. So they just billed me w/o even trying to bill the insurance. All they care is that they get the money and in the easiest way! post 1: Dr Ligh is great! But some of the supporting staff are really no good. We've been to this clinic several times. And it has always been good. But the most recent visit is a disaster. Skipping all the rest of the unhappy details, what really triggered me to write this comment was that my son had to stop in the middle of a procedure because the staff had to take a lunch break. We already got the nitride. They fixed one crack. But for the second small filling, we were told to come back and redo the nitride to get it done because the staff could not start her lunch 10min later. The cashier is cold and sour face too. I've requested all records to be released and would never go back!"
"Dr. Light got us in quickly to fix a lip tie that was affecting my son's nursing. The procedure was quick and easy and solved the problem. Highly recommended Dr. Light, he sees all 5 of our children."
