"I've been coming here for 9+ years and I have to say that the owner is amazing when it comes to cutting my type of hair which is very straight, a typical Asian male hair. I have a very specific style which she is able to make every time for this long which is the amazing part. She has a degree and training to cut, style, color, etc. hair which is also a plus. Price is also on the higher end, but compared to the Bay area, it's considered average. She is popular and I recommend calling ahead of time to set an appointment, especially on the weekends. She is also off Sundays and Mondays."

"Avoid this place!! Horrible experience and haircut. Be careful of the 4.8 rating, note the number of the reviews too! Also, lots of 5-star reviews were given a few years ago. I really think a person never learned hair cut can do better than her. 1. Not accept credit card, cash or zelle only. 2. Super slow hair cut for men. In other places at El Camino Real street, it always takes 15 mins for me. Today it took 50mins and still bad hair cut. After she is done, very obviously the hair cut was not good and I can see obvious problem of it - two sides are not same. She asked me back without me saying anything, and she improved it a bit. But I can still see two sides are different. 3. Not very clean: she used a towel to cover my face while washing the hair before hair cut, but the towel is a bit smell covering my mouth. 4. I pay $40 in other Korean hair salon for everything better but $45 here for everything worse. 5. During my haircut, she walk away about 4-5 times to answer other customers call for appointment, look at her phone and some other stuff. Avoid this place!!"

"This review is very overdue. A year or so ago, Grace gave me the best haircut and digital perm that I’ve ever had in my life. It was exactly what I asked for- as short as possible but still being long enough to tie. My hair felt incredibly light but was full of body and made me feel beautiful, yet it was easy to manage and never got tangled. She turned down other hair appointments, so she could just focus off my hair since I was asking for both a haircut and digital perm, which was very time and labor-intensive. My husband loved my new hair style too. Despite not trimming it for a year, I’m still very happy with it and how it has been growing out and looks with the digital perm. This picture is of the back of my hair about two months after my cut and perm. I’ve never looked at a picture of the back of my own hair and been so pleased with it! Thank you, Grace!"

"I've gone through countless hair stylists, for a reason. Since I found Grace at Ga-in salon, I've stopped looking for new stylists and have been going to her for a few years now. She's skilled, meticulous, and very welcoming. Her salon is always clean and homey. Parking is always available. I'm so so so glad she's still in business all through covid. Will continue returning!"

"Ga-In is the kindest hair stylist that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. She was willing to book an appointment for me 30 minutes before her usual opening time during the busy weekend before New Year's. I showed up almost an hour late. She was still happy to work me into her schedule where she could. I was able to get my hair cut within 30 minutes of waiting. Ga-In quickly understood what I wanted based on the photo I showed her (a two block), and did a fantastic job. This was my first visit to Ga-In Beauty Salon -- and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend Ga-In if you are looking for a fantastic Korean hair stylist. Great skill, personality, and understanding. Very clean salon."
