Reviews of Pigeon River Inn
"We’ve stayed here 2 different times during our travels. It’s not real fancy but it’s super nice, clean, with comfy beds and balconies with nice views. The staff was nice too! Will definitely stay again!"
"This was our first time staying in pigeon Forge with our daughter and the pigeon river inn was amazing. Elevators were nice and quick, lots of parking even for pickup trucks. We booked a “honeymoon” suite with a jacuzzi tub. The tub was awesome and very roomy for 2, room was very clean and had a clean smell, and the river view balcony was beautiful. However, the bed was a little lacking. It was comfortable enough to sleep in and very clean but the mattress was very hard. We would definitely stay again for the price and location, it cannot be beat."
"I love this place! Been here twice so far and planning another stay soon. No, it's nothing fancy or "high-end", but the rooms are clean (from my experience) and amenities are very good for the price. Breakfast is satisfying; again, nothing fancy, but if you're just looking for a free meal to fuel your morning, it's more than enough! The staff are very nice! Our first visit I asked in advance if we could get rooms next door since we were traveling with a small group; they were super accommodating to that request. The best part of the place is the balcony rooms. By far the BEST view for the price point! Balcony is very private. LOVE that they don't allow smoking anywhere in the building. One day there were some people smoking out in one of the picnic tables near the river, and the smell kinda drifted up to our room. But it wasn't a constant thing so not a huge big deal. Hotel itself is very easy to get in/out of off the parkway. I can imagine it might be more difficult during the peak travel seasons, but as I tend to visit in the off months, it's never been an issue. This hotel is definitely my go-to now when coming to Pigeon Forge!"
"Location: Near the tourist attractions, but getting out of the parking lot is difficult as there is no stop light. Price: Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Free Breakfast: Same stuff every day - scrambled eggs, sausage patty, donut holes, bagel. Rooms: Very dated and not in good condition. My room had weird stains on the ceiling, crumbs and dust around the corner of the bed, small insects by the wall plug, and rusting/dark stains on the ventilation in the bathroom. Pictures included below. I tried not to look around too much. The beds and pillow were also uncomfortable. Parking: Limited and can get filled up during peak season. Not sure where you park if that happens. Staff: Not very friendly or welcoming. Overall: I would not recommend this hotel. Rating: 1 out of 5 stars. Please note: This is just my personal opinion based on my experience at the Pigeon River Inn. Your experience may vary. However, I would recommend reading other reviews and doing your research before booking your stay."
"I stayed here and had my doubts at first, I am a little picky, plus it was just my mother and I. We both felt extremely safe and comfortable here. I would stay here again! I loved it! The balcony was a very nice addition. I slept great in my bed, we had 2 queens. The location is actually really close to everything! It's not a "new" hotel but I didn't pay the price for a "new" hotel. Everyone was very nice! Breakfast was ok but it was free so that made it great! Don't let this hotel pass you by without checking it out."
