"The lights in the bathroom and over my sink never worked. Asked the manager to work on it and nothing was ever done. This place is cheap so that is what you will get. I just need a place to sleep at night, so it was ok for me."
"DO NOT STAY HERE. Drugs. Bed bugs. Roaches, all frequent this hotel. Crime is constant here."
"The rooms are filthy. Roaches and flying gnats and fruit flies everywhere. The rooms smell awful, you're lucky if you have a working fridge or TV. Used to be nicer when we stayed here. Not worth $65 a night."
"Gosh just read the reviews. I asked to see a room before paying, they only had smoking rooms available on a Friday night, oct 2021 ... I opened the door to 12A and the smoke smell about knocked me over. It was really not nice. Maybe the non smoking rooms are better but I left in a hurry. Running a motel must be a hard life so I'm trying to be sympathetic but if this was my place I would be kind of ashamed to charge anyone $60 a night."
"This place would be a horror movie villain's perfect hideaway. We got stuck in a massive storm and couldn't see anything around us for more than 10 feet, so we had to pull into the first motel we saw, because it was getting dangerous to continue on. It was dirty, and grungy. There was no illumination in the parking lot or on the doors of the rooms, so we couldn't even see the numbers of the rooms. The lobby was poorly maintained and dimly lit. Two debit cards were declined, that we KNOW had money in them as we'd just been paid the day before. The one card of the traveler with us that was overdrafted already? Hers went through, go figure. So now we have to carefully monitor our bank accounts for the next few weeks. The key didn't work at first, you really had to fight with it. Once in, the bathroom was disgusting, the toilet seat had something gross stained all over it. We refused to even use the shower, as the grout was all over the place and stained with who knows what. Mildew and mold was everywhere, the towel wasn't even folded, it was thrown on the edge of the tub, leading half of it to hang onto the dirty floor. The smoke detector was half torn off of the wall, and something was blinking in the cavity that wasn't part of the detector itself. We were spooked that it could even be a dang camera at this point. I went to lay down in one of the beds, and realized there is some sort of panel all by itself on the wall opposite the bed. With the rest of the atmosphere, you could all too easily imagine a peeping Tom or criminal sort sneaking around getting through trap doors and panels in this place. We didn't even sleep, we laid down without taking off a single item of clothing and got up to start on the road again at 5am, even though the weather was still horrendous. We actually put our lives in jeopardy to drive through 10ft visibility instead of staying in this place another few hours until it was light out. To me, that says it all. Even in an emergency? Keep going and find a different motel."
