"I went today after lunch as i had a dog bite me this a m. I called before going to verify about my insurance as its a new plan. Customer service was AWESOME on the phone & in person! Couldn't of been any better! I saw Dr Kwak & he remembered me from seeing him 4 yrs ago to b tested for covid. Dr. Kwak & his nurse Ms Johnson were both helpful, knowledgeable, concerned & NOTHING could of been any better from the time i arrived until i left! I highly recommend them. There are minor clinics closer but they either didnt accept my ins and/ or had attitude on the phone! It was definitely worth the drive going to cordova & i have highly recommended them many times before! Will never think about going to any other place! This location is on trinity off of germantown rd.."
"I called this location on Jan 16 to ask if they accepted blue cross blue shield. A man answered very sleepily and non chalantly and his words were garbled as if he had just woken up and for a moment I thought I had called someone's home. He mumbled something and I asked if this was urgent care and he said yes. He confirmed that they accepted the insurance. My brother also called and asked if they were open and he spoke to the same man who said no one had come in due to the weather. Funny thing is the nearest other urgent care was fully operational with staff. But this urgent care for some reason no one could come in. My brother was outside and very sick. Possibly flu or covid. He needed care bad. The man said that he didn't know when the place would open and told my brother to check back in hours. They still had the doors locked even though they showed open online and it was well past their open hours."
"I'm giving this two stars, but only because the nurses are amazing. I'd give the doctor no stars if I could. I saw Dr Warren T Kwok, MD this morning. I went in for a COVID test because my home test came back positive and my workplace will not accept a home test. I just paid a $45 dollar copay for them to do a rapid test on me (it was positive) and then he refused to write any prescriptions. Nothing. He says he doesn't write anti-virals for COVID because they don't work (I'm a nurse, they do work, but whatever). But not only that, he didn't write anything else either. Not so much as a cough syrup for this annoying, hacking, miserable cough that I have. I respect your right to not write prescriptions for people's symptoms, as you see fit, as a doctor. But you should probably post that on the front door so people like me, who need to get better quickly, don't have to be sick and miserable for 10 days when we could be prescribed something that will help us get better faster. Next time, I'll go somewhere else."
"Going to Baptist minor med in Cordova was an AWFUL experience. My wife made me an appointment for 11 :00 a.m. We got there at 10:40, filled out the paperwork then waited two and a half hours to be seen although there were only three people in the waiting room before us. We watched a lady who said she'd been there for hours rather nicely explain that she'd have to come back another day, then leave. Another man eventually began pacing around coughing, clearly agitated as he made comments about how long he'd been waiting too. The whole time we saw employees walk in and out of doors giggling with their cell phones in hand, and when the frustrated guy finally asked how much longer the wait would be the lady at the counter told him everyone was on lunch break and wouldn't be back for about an hour... I stuck it out because after surviving lung cancer I figured I probably need it to get something for this lingering chest cold I have. When the nurse practitioner lady finally saw me I was in and out in no time. Went to get my prescriptions a couple of hours later and they weren't there. I tried to get them the next day again and they said I simply have no prescriptions under my name anywhere. I guess after all that they just didn't even bother to put in for the prescriptions. This kind of service makes people prefer to wait until their condition is bad enough to just go to the emergency room and wait hours instead of bothering with a place like this. Such hesitance to get help can cost lives. Completely unacceptable. It's a shame I even have to give this place one star because it either needs all new management or to be shut down if this is how they do business, and healthcare in America is a business unfortunately. I completely wasted my time and money for nothing and I'm still sick 2 days later as I write this review."
"I was in the clinic for 4 hours waiting to get seen. I was there for a job related problem but I wasn’t seen until close to closing time. Others in the waiting room were waiting long as well. I was told that the surrounding clinics had closed down which meant everyone was going to this one BMG clinic. The medical complaints that were in the clinic at the time were minor in nature and should not have been taking so long to treat and release. When I was sent back I still was in the exam room for close to an hour. The NP that saw me was professional and she seemed to actually care on why I was there. The LPN that did the triage you could tell was just wanting to get off the clock. I much rather have gone to my PCP but unfortunately I was not able to do so. So just FYI if you decide to come here, be prepared to wait long hours."
