What we notice and appreciate the most, besides great food and service, is the seriousness of the whole staff, front and back of the house. This is a no nonsense, top shelf establishment. "First time here. Good energy, it was already busy right after work but we fortunately were able to get seated as soon as we arrived. The staff was friendly. The walls are filled with sports and Italian memorabilia. Gangster films were playing on the two tvs near the bar area, which further added to the nostalgia the restaurant is attempting to invoke within its patrons. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. The food itself was average despite providing hearty servings. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and the eggplant was slightly mushy for my preference. The gnocchi was good, but nothing that separates itself from other gnocchi I’ve had in the past. Overall, this is a great place to meet people for happy hour after work or to have a quick meal, but I wouldn’t consider this place fine dining."
