"Great food and wine recommendations from the staff, who are equally sharp and pleasant. The presentation and portioning is perfect for a hungry third date (does that make sense?). The atmosphere is somewhere in the middle of energetic and intimate, depending on the night. A bit cramped, but not unpleasant. I enjoyed my time here & the food did not disappoint. I'll be back!"
"ORIGINAL: fabulous food (and great value) - a neighbourhood favorite. UPDATE: After showering Alimento with love and praise to everyone I know, I returned with four friends- 3 of us were on time, the fourth had to find parking. At 7:15 (SHARP!) our 4th diner arrived and was told we had missed our table. I truly couldn’t believe it - especially after so much love we have to this place. The food is great - the staff are entitled, rude and simply ridiculous. We will never return."
"We went there last Saturday for dinner recommended by Cosa Buona Restaurant. Date night ! This place has great ambiance very cozy and nice . We ordered pasta , salad and appetizer, food was great tasty and Fresh! Also wine is great many choices to pick from the menu."
"A surprising little Italian spot in Silverlake! One of the best Italian places we've been to in LA. The menu is minimal and on point. Each dish felt carefully designed and the bites were absolutely perfect. We paired everything with unique orange wines. The servers were very knowledgeable and passionate which made the experience even better. Chicken liver crostone, Masa Gnocco Fritto, and Tortellini en Brodo are a must!!"
"It’s my first time back after the restaurant reopened post renovation. The food is as delicious as ever. The beef tartare with soy cured egg yolk, cracked farro salad and chili ribs are always good choices. The spaghetti with Dungeness crab and the fusilli with clams were satisfying. The orata with pesto trapanese and bean puree was the hands down favorite. The service is superb. The place is also dog friendly like most places in Silverlake."
