"This is an amazing restaurant! They told us they had been closed for a few months and reopened today. Such a great find. The food was incredible and very well priced, we got free tea, and the owner came and told us a bit about her culture and how all the recipes are local to Shanghai, where she grew up. She even gave us recommendations for what we might like next time. We got the yellow croaker with preserved vegetables noodle soup and the pan-fried pork soup dumplings. Will definitely be coming back!"

"March 2023, the time I saw the 2 young gentleman serving tables while hating the job and every customer. These 2 grumpy guys did not smile even once, inexperienced and... they just don't care. Within 5 minutes I was wondering if we should eat somewhere else. The food was a major disappointment because it showed the chefs didn't care either. The beef noodle soup had all the good ingredients but was very bland, as was the soup we ordered. The Yeung Chow fried rice was a joke. That had crumbs of pork and boiled shrimp placed on top. The sad part is the technique was there, but the love was not. The whole experience was very depressing."

"One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in Sacramento. Looks like they make the dumplings, noodles, and then some fresh on site! Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, and not super heavy oil like some of the other Chinese in Sacramento. Highly recommend pan fried dumplings, Green onion pancake, and the duck. We will certainly be back with more people."

"Food was really really good with authentic Shanghai cuisine. Although the house was kind of old, dark, and not in a well maintained environment (e.g. sticky floor and a little bit dirty restrooms), seemed it used to be decorated with old time too. Surrounding the photos on the wall, with oldie furniture, probably can imagine one was back to Old Shanghai in China. Not that old, but like in 90s. For a while, I thought the place was abandoned. Except of these feelings, it was very much enjoyment on the food. Only one dish was kind of salty but all tasted so delicious."
