"I stayed at the Marriott Midtown Sac for approximately 11 days. Everyone was really nice and professional. But there were a few hiccups. First, the handicap accessibel room's shower was not really designed to be as accessible as it should have been. In order to use the main shower head I had to climb on the edge of the bathtub (which was a bit unsafe) simply to push the knobs for it to work. How a person on a wheelchair is supposed to do that is still unclear for me. Secondly, twice Housekeeping decided to lower the AC to 60 degrees and leave it that way the entire day!!! When I came in to the room it was FREEZING!!!! I had to call the front desk and leave a note that Housekeeping was NOT allowed to touch the AC unit. That was enough to fix that issue. Thirdly, for the price you would think that Housekeeping would do a better job keeping the rooms clean. There was so much dust on the lamps, window sills and coffee pot. I spilled a little drop of hot sauce on the nightstand and I thought I had cleaned most of it. The next evening I noticed there was still a little drop and Housekeeping didn't even wipe it down. There was a dirty bathroom towel left on the nightstand too. I have to say that when I did complain of these things, the manager was great in taking care of the issues. Which meant a lot. Last but not least, the employees at the Bar/Coffee station were incredibly nice and fun to be around with, especially after a long hard day at the Hospital. Kudos to them."
"I have been there several times. Their beds are very uncomfortable. Also roll-out cots are literally painful. Everything else is great."
"The kids loved playing in the pool. It has a shallow end at 3' deep and then goes to 5' at the other end. Just right for the kids and mom to do some laps! The pillows kind of flattened over the night. Not my favorite but the room is clean and big! The sheets are soft and any staff we talked to was kind and helpful. The perfect place to stay before my grandsons procedure."
