"The spots are nicely staggered so you don't feel too close to anyone. The restroom facilities wee clean enough and have nice wide shower stalls. It is dog friendly as far as plenty of places to go but the were feral cats running around and one dog ended up with a couple of ticks. If you have kids, there is a conveniently located park. The entrance is in a sketchy, trashy neighborhood, but that is not the park's fault. The laundry facility got the job done. My complaint is the pile of junk on the way into the laundry room was unsightly and unnecessary."
"Possibly the best state park we have ever stayed at, and as a full-time RVer, we have stayed at many. While it appears totally out in the country with stunning pretty woods and trails, technically it is still inside the Memphis southern city limits ... meaning fun is a close drive. Simply amazing African-American history right here that my wife and I were pleased to learn. Paved roads, paved RV parking spots, 30 and 50 amp available, nice picnic tables, newly renovated showers (wow ... 6' x 8'), and very nice and helpful office staff. This park has our highest recommendation."
"The bathrooms were immaculate! They must have been freshly remodeled because it was like a luxury hotel. The most impressive bathrooms and showers I have ever seen at a camp ground!!!! It was nice and peaceful when we were there, just like we like. We arrived after hours and could not find a spot without electricity or water (we don't use) so we stayed at a back in spot that had one. It was pricey for not needing those services but probably ok for those that use them. I would like to see more car camo friendly spots that don't need electricity or water. The tent area has no parking and was in a field. The person at the visitor center was very friendly and informative. If you camp a lot, you know that positivity from the desk is becoming a luxury. We paid as we left in the morning and she explained about the area and recommended hiking trails.theblark was very clean, lots of grass and very well kept. It exceeded my expectations and I will camp here again."
"About 45 sites, elec & water, dump station at exit. Clean modern restrooms. Heavily wooded, about 15 pull through sites, lots of space between sites. Only disadvantage is park is quite a few miles off I-240 and the city road is not too good. Nice small visitor center with friendly staff."
"T.O. Fuller campground is very rustic and secluded, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. For me it was a bit too rustic. There’s little to no cell signal, the bathrooms are filthy, and there’s very little to do at the campground. For some, a quiet camping trip away from civilization is a good thing, but it’s certainly not for everyone. Of course they have all the basics for a campground such as an electric hookup, fire pit, table, dumping station, and water to fill up, but don’t expect any extras. If a basic campground away from any conveniences is something you like, this should be good for you. Otherwise, there’s probably a lot better options out there."
