"A neglected gem. First, gps sends you here west bound on Plant Road. The bridge is out so come in from the east. The restrooms are dirty with lots of trash. Last night 4 sites lost water because the pump switched over to pour all over the ground. Weeds are a foot high in places. On the bright side the sites are nice and big. Nice playground."
"We camped for 4 days at Fuller in November in order to visit Memphis. The lovely little campground is great for that. Nicely forested, well maintained, regularly patrolled by park rangers, spacious lots, water and electricity at every site. Special mention of the renovated bathroom. Only drawback is the permanent rumble of freight trains, air planes and road traffic. But for that you are at 20 minutes from the center of Memphis. We walked the Discovery Trail to the Chucalissa Indian village and associated museum: delightful. The trail is a bit overgrown but still easy to spot and easy to walk."
"Great park. The Indian village was nice but you do have to pay to get into that place."
"Good stuff- pretty good location for travelers - not too far off the highway. Good location if you are visiting the area for a day or two. Ranger is very close to campsites and makes the rounds often. Lots of trees and very little noise. Dump station has nice big pull through and well kept. Reasonable camp fees for a state park. Bad stuff- portable showers and portapotty. Bathhouse is closed and there are little trees growing from the gutters. Our water spigot handle was missing.... challenging to turn water on and off. Grass was high and lots of low tree limbs- hazard for tall RVs."
"This state park should not be in this condition. It has been years since I visited Fuller Park; however, I was shocked to see the grass overgrown, the parking lot cracked and unstripped. It is not being well maintained, and the street leading to the park was unappealing(scary). Now, the small area near the visitor center was mowed and groomed. There were a couple of shady looking characters driving around. Many years ago, we visited this park on a regular basis. It was packed, maintained, and fun! For a Saturday in July, it was practically deserted. It makes me sad to write this review because of all the good memories I had at Fuller Park. Please save and restore this park to its fullest potential!"
