"Arrived @ 10:00 AM on 072723, Thursday, and parked in a nearby stall. Howard Ruy was my technician who also handled the counter when I walked in. He politely handed me a piece of paper to complete which was nothing more than filling in my name, domicile & telephone. Prices were outlined by Mr Ruy. $100 to pass; $90 failure; $40 re-test within 30 days. No worries since this was my second Star registration renewal test with G8 (2021) and I only drive my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee about 50 miles per week (work car). Vehicle has 272, 439 miles on the odometer. Shortly afterwards, while I was seated in their waiting room, Mr Ruy came to the counter softly announcing that my vehicle had passed. One caveat: there are no latrines. However that was mitigated by my completion time of 10:20 AM. Transaction was seamless and very fast. Results are electronically transmitted to DMV allowing me to renew my registration on-line. Thanks G8 & Mr Ruy. See you in 2025.
