"There are a few small plates available from each of several Mediterranean cuisines. The overall collection is somewhat eclectic, but the quality was consistently very good and mixing the different styles worked. The wine list is also good and fairly representative of the different cuisines."

"It's quite a cute Spanish tapas restaurant that strives for an elevated and classy experience but ends up feeling more homey and overpriced instead. Local goat cheese: Get! Enjoyed this a lot. The balance of sweet, salty, creamy, and texture was a delight to start with. Anchovies Potatoes Artichoke hearts: Skip There wasn't much depth in most of these items and the flavor profiles weren't as composed as i would have hoped. Paella: Skip Accurately taking 40 minutes.... it did not accurately serve 4 people. It was still somewhat enjoyable but still not as fragrant as I would have hoped. Service: Great! Our servers were very attentive, polite, and friendly and I really appreciated that. Food: 5/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Service: 9/10 Value: 5/10"

"I visited this restaurant today after a gap of almost 3 years. This is my favorite tapas and wine place in the San Mateo and Bay Area. It is a very small and cozy place with say not more than 10 tables. You will get the best service and the hosts. Owners of this place are there sometimes and the lady will engage in conversation with you. This place is very popular with the locals. The decor is very unique, charming and personal. Everything in this place represents its name. Highly recommend this place to all wine lovers."

"Just like the name, there is something about Amour that overflows with homely love and coziness. Lots of love in the food, the atmosphere, etc. Food is awesome and well presented. Imagine home style dishes served in a pseudo Michelin-star manner. The taste is truthful to the ingredients and very honest. No fooling around. No cover ups. Just good ingredients put together well with love and care. Tastes great! Make sure to grab their dessert. We tried all of them and absolutely worth it. Desserts were pricey compared to other dishes but it feels more like a fancy patisserie cafe in its taste and presentation. Absolutely a jewel for date night or a small gathering of friends. Service was friendly but they were extremely understaffed. Make sure you make reservations."

"Went here with work colleagues for dinner and had an excellent experience. The overall setup was amazing and with well priced food, you couldn't ask for anything more! We ordered a couple of things which included Crostini's and Hot Tapas, and one cannot go wrong with the Black Truffle Mushroom Crostini - so yeah, I highly recommend getting that. Patatas Bravas ($15), slightly overpriced Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($18), and some excellent Shishito Pepper ($18) is a definite must order. I got the Gnocchi ($20) for mains and it was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and food kept arriving within 20 minutes of our continuous ordering!"
