"I love this park, it's newly renovated and beautiful! I go walking almost every day! It's pet friendly, kid friendly & picnic savey!"
"Almost complete but there is still construction at the side. Very nice park. Good for walking, running, biking, lots of interactive spaces. Great location"
"Tom Lee park isn’t a home run for the city of Memphis, it’s a GRAND SLAM! It’s accessible from several locations between the city (bluff) and the river although not all are handicapped accessible. It’s huge, innovative, beautiful and FUN! Informative maps are conveniently placed all over and you’ll need them. Take the kids to the playground, it’s incredible. I even enjoyed a slide myself. Don’t miss the monument to Tom Lee (look up this hero) and the sculpture by Theaster Gates, “A Monument To Listening”. You can get to the pedestrian rail ridge crossing to the south of the park but, it’s a little wonky, needs a little more signage but it’s cool."
"Great new park that is visually pleasing and fun for everyone of all ages! The children's playground is creatively designed and well considered. There are restrooms and a place to purchase beverages. Lovely view of the Mississippi."
"My first experience of the park was during the re-opening on Labor Day and that day only since I'm not a local. It was beautiful! Great views of the Mississippi River. There were volleyball courts, a kids play area, lots of walking paths including the one by the river, plenty of seating, picnic tables, a huge basketball court area, and so much more! I also used the bathrooms and they were kept fairly clean. They had a visitor center area to rent out anything you needed like basketballs and other things. It was such a pretty park, I would definitely go back next time I visit Memphis!"
