"I asked for knotless box braids but they did half knotless and half with knots. I didn’t notice until I got home. My braids were not neat. They talked extremely loud the entire time I was there. If they wasn’t talking on the phone, they were talking to each other."

"They did my box braids very well, but the styling gel they used had dye in it & that bled everywhere! I didn't know nor tell them to use dye! However, be very weary of braiding hair now especially the Expression kind. This brand is being mixed with fibers that makes it nearly impossible to dip in hot water; therefore, resulting in a tangled mess at the ends. Buy a pack & test it and other brands before you spend hours and money getting your hair braided. This brand is not cheap and unacceptable that it has diminished in quality over the years. Better yet have your stylist/braider use their own trusted brand."

"This were my first time going to this braid shop and yes they did an excellent job on my head. My braids are so neat and cute. I got small knotless braids and it took them 4 hours. Three ladies work on my head and got me out the door. Yep this will be my new spot for getting braids."

"Well I was a regular at this place but they just lost a frequent customer. Let me explain why. However, before I explain let me give you advice. Go with your hair already washed de tangled and blow dried. They will pull your hair out as they can only braid they don’t know about hair care. Now when I went there on my last visit they charged me 250 for corn rows! I thought that was steep as I never paid that much for box braids. Then I called around to other African shops and they charge 180. I thought this was normal. My corn rows don’t have designs or box braids in the back. Secondly I showed them a pic of how I wanted my hair done. I came in at five and they said they could do my hair. This was a new lady, I’m used to flow. Anyway, what she didn’t tell me is that she would half do the job. My hair was neat but I asked for a style and showed it with a picture. My hair was not like the picture and I’m sure they could do the job she was just rushing and then asked could I come back the next day to finish it. My hair does not look full despite me having thick long hair. I would attach pics if I could. I’m very disappointed to have spent that much money and get mediocre service. I then messaged the owner who said she would refund me if I was overpriced for the job and she stopped responding once I sent her pics! I’m okay if I got what I wanted but a price of 250 is steep for a style that I did not want! My braids should be hanging and free flowing my hair is literally cornrows on the side and back. I would have been better off getting box braids! If I can attach pictures I will. Lady that worked there barely speaks English. Nice Lady but I could not express my dissatisfaction. Do right by people or they will stop coming!"
