"Contacted this shop for a gear swap quote on my 2003 GT Stang, and what a surprise I got. The contact person informed me he was the owner didn’t give his name but gave me a quote 2,400.00 and after informed him I had my own parts he went down to 2,000.00. He also seemed to not understand what I was explaining to him about the work I wanted done. Then he started thinking of parts to do the work and that his shop was very professional and they all were engineers, don’t believe you have to be an engineer to swap out rear gears just knowledgeable. I told him that I had gotten a couple more quotes from other shops for 550.00 and he told me they wouldn’t do the work correct and I would end up paying the amount he was charging anyway… so he told me to go ahead a get my work done at the other shops. I’m here expressing my thoughts that’s not the way to do business. Like I mentioned earlier giving him the benefit of the doubt he didn’t understand…So that scared me cause I don’t let anyone work on my Mustang, I have to research the intended shop. I highly would not recommend this shop."

"This place is so good that I just had to write a review..something I rarely if ever do. The owner Peter is an outstanding Pro and runs a fantastic shop with high quality mechanics and output. The place is loaded with classic stangs and they know them inside and out. I struggled mightily to find a shop that had the know-how to work on my 72 Cobra Jet and the Mustang Shop more than fits the bill. "I just purchased my 1968 Mustang GT and remembered Peter at the Mustang Shoppe from work down in the past. He and shop manager Mike gave me a competitive quote to install a modern Borgeson power steering system. They just completed the job on time and the system works great. Of course there's always something that is unexpected when dealing with an almost 50-year-old car, with the steering column and mounting not in good shape, yet their expert mechanics made sure the install was secure and a quality job. They even fixed other little things on the way like my horn. I was very happy and even decided to ask to do a little more with a tune up and that was a good experience too.
