"I was referred to Eco-Tint by my son who did an extensive research before choosing the best place to take his new car to get the paint ceramic coated and windows tinted. After the work was completed, my son raved about the owner and his team for the top notch service and expertise on ceramic coating, window tinting and other services to protect and beautify your car. He was impressed with their outstanding service and so many years of experience with high end cars and the quality work they did on his car. When I got my dream car, I decided to get the ceramic coating, and also the leather protected. I was a little cautious and nervous about anyone touching my car being that I'm a bit of a perfectionist. But when Rob showed up, on time looking perfectly classy and professional, extremely knowledgeable and and caring -- I was able to relax. The work he did was impressive as I was told it was gonna be. It was flawless and my car looked even more beautiful. Rob is extremely detail oriented and he's clearly a perfectionist. He was willing to go above and beyond to make it look perfect. I really appreciated the skills and the extra care he put into making my car look perfectly beautiful and protected. It was like artwork. And the pricing was unbelievably competitive! Especially for the service, convenience and the quality of work. I love the way the dust and water drops just roll off of the paint and my car always looks like it's just been detailed. And the leather looks amazing. without any stains or spots from all the make up, food etc. I shouldn't do in my car lol. I'm so happy that I decided to go with Eco-Tint. "I don't write many reviews. But this guy struck a chord with me. I'm a car and detailing enthusiast and wanted a chrome delete on my e46 325ci and initially went here because of numerous good reviews. Right from the start the chrome was exposed in the back corner and was not flush to the rubber seal. There are folds in this area (as shown). When i got home and took a closer look under better light I noticed that the vinyl had already started peeling back from the drive home (as shown). My paint isn't in in amazing condition but its pretty great for a factory black 2004 e46 (43k miles) (I added a photo of other areas of the car for reference to how well kept it's been). I always wash it to Matt from Obsessed Garage's standards (youtube) and I pretty much know all the areas I've created swirl marks on or that have been damaged and I noticed many light VERTICAL scratches around the area of the car he would be exposed to. This is relevant because most of the imperfections on my paint are swirls due to improper drying- and these deeper vertical marks stuck out like a sore thumb under a light. I discovered a few small scratches right where the chrome trim meets the paint that I believe might be from a razor blade cutting the vinyl. i cant think of another way it got like that. The car is black- I would have known it was there. When I asked him about it he told me it was impossible he damaged the paint because he wasn't exposed to that area. I've tried doing the chrome delete myself and I know that's not true. Cutting the vinyl by following the trim is a common way to do it. I paid higher than other shops charge ($420 including taking out the mirrors); expensive but I wanted the job done right. I was heartbroken when I realized how it turned out. He denied all accountability for the scratches and claimed he was not in the business of being harassed. He made it known to me that he "wasn't like other shops" and pointed out the competition for being lazy. The irony. The funny part is we we're actually getting along pretty well before I inspected the work.. This is my first bmw ever and I was so excited to get rid of the old grampa trim. He offered a refund and to remove it the vinyl but that doesn't account for the huge inconvenience, let alone damage to my first bimmer. He also accused me of trying to swindle him for a new paint-job. I'm also not too keen on the idea of handing him over my car again to remove it. :( I would be cautious going here if you baby your car like me. *keep in mind the car is very dirty. I didn't wash it for a few days so I could be sure no water was stuck in there as a precautionary. The pictures are all from today."
