"3 vegetarians descended on Sushi Raw for our first experience there which was just fine. We had the crispy dumplings which were tasty, the mushroom ramen soup which had a very nice mushroom savory flavor to it, and veggie rolls, which tasted okay, but which were a little loosely rolled and hard to pick up without them falling apart. (The veggie roll also had lettuce in it which didn’t seem necessary and probably affected the physical integrity of the roll.) I also had a glass of plum wine which was super sweet. The person who greeted us when we walked in wasn’t particularly friendly on the Friday evening that we showed up, though we were seated fairly quickly and the serving staff took good care of us. We also had edamame which tasted exactly as it should. This wasn’t our favorite sushi experience ever, but we had plenty to eat and it did the job in a fairly nice setting."
