"Seeing this shops social media presence and the people they sponsor had deceived me in the beginning. I’ve had more bad experiences with this shop than good. I have put off writing a review for a long time but I don’t wish to anymore. One of the main issues I encountered was after SSR installed my rain light diffuser. Shortly after install, I had a friend call me after they saw me on the road with a tail light out. Due to their shotty wiring job, my rain light and right tail light were out until I could get rescheduled. Second, after having my stock exhaust re installed after I got a ticket, they left the remus exhaust hangers on with the stock exhaust which made it rattle like crazy after a couple days. I waited in the waiting room for approx 3-4 hours until they brought the car out with exhaust fixed… 3-4 hours for a small job that should have been made a priority. Now to last week. I was out at the track and mid session I hear a BOOM. Was stuck in limp mode, couldn’t figure out what was going on since I had SSR upgraded chargepipes, so it couldn’t have been those I thought. I found out today, the SSR UPGRADED charge pipes had blown off on the bottom side. Ruined my track day and I was stuck in limp mode not knowing what was wrong until I had another shop diagnose what happened. SSR recommended me their charge pipes because of how often the stock ones pop, yet theirs did the exact same thing!! I have said and always said, you can tell they take better care of cars that are owned by friends of the shop and super cars, not as much M cars and others in the same realm."

Not only did they do excellent work on my BMW which effectively made my M550 nearly as fast as an M5 for just a couple grand, but specifically the GM Mark has been exceptional throughout the process. He has graciously answered my questions promptly and elaborately every single time. They were even recommended to me by my BMW dealer, which again proves how awesome they are. "SSR Performance is hands down the best performance shop I have been to. I have taken my BMW M340i to them twice and will continue to do so, as well as take all my future cars there. Mark, Rod & the SSR team give an experience that is unlike any other. They give consistent updates about your car, a great breakdown of everything, extremely fair pricing and most importantly the quality of work is unmatched. I originally took my car in to have a Valvetronic Designs exhaust installed and the job was done absolutely perfect & quickly. I live about an hour and a half away and was going to have difficulty getting my stock exhaust back home. Mark & Rod went above and beyond to source delivery of my exhaust to my house. The second time around, I had some performance mods, side skirts & paddle shifters installed and they did an absolutely terrific job. While my car was there the second time, I also asked them to check out my carbon fiber rear diffuser as a local shop in my town originally installed it and they did not do a proper job. The shop local to me blamed it on the fitment of the diffuser itself. When i told Mark this, he said they should have taken the bumper off to have it installed properly. The SSR team did just that and the fitment of my diffuser is now perfect. Mark and the team went above and beyond to make sure my experience was terrific and have my car look & perform great.
