"Women and Out of State Customers Beware. I was visiting CA and was recommended to Automotive Consultants (AAA approved). It was a great initial experience with a quick diagnosis that I needed a wheel bearing repair (1) and was quoted an estimate for 2 hrs labor fee. I waited at shop during repair service and it took 45 minutes to replace wheel hub (start to finish). I was soooo excited for the quick service. However, upon receiving invoice I was still charged estimated 2 hour labor ($350.00) service fee. I ask why labor fee charged was the same 2 hour estimated labor fee rate? I was given no explanation. I felt had not choice but to pay for service since repair was completed and I'm non confrontational. I totally feel that I was taken advantage of, not sure if it was because I'm female and/or from out-of-state, after much thought and contacting other near repair shops including dealer service that $350.00 labor fee for less than an hour (1) is very excessive! Again, BEWARE"
