"I really want to love this place since the food is actually really good & some of the servers provide good service. However, the girl who’s frequently the host always seems to have a really bad attitude towards my party. this is not a one time incident. I’ve been to this place 10+ times, and we kept giving it chances to see if it improves. But no, her attitude just gets worse and worse each time. Please refrain from going, the whole experience was very negative and the server gives off such bad energy."
"Excellent service by Austin and crew. Food was good, price is very reasonable. Had a great time here ! There are a lot of good sushi spots in SGV area. Finding one where you can enjoy your meal and interact with the crew is special. Makes the meal just a bit more special."
"Good food. Lunch omikase was very reasonable and sushi was great. Make sure to take the shrimp head in the miso soup. So delicious!"
"Both times we went here it was fantastic, and while you certainly could spend a lot of money by ordering the omikase or some other items, you could easily have lunch for 20 to 30 bucks a person as well."
"It’s such a hidden gem. I went on a Friday night and sat at the omakase table. The service was a bit slow, I had to ask 3 times before getting wet towels. But I think they were just swamped. The food was great! Omakase was $150 and I think it was great value for the quality I got. The only complaint I had was the chef was so busy and was rushing to put the food on your plate. I’ve had omakase a lot and even in Japan. The chef always looked very sincere and looked at your plate when placing your food in front of you. But other than that, it was a great experience. I’ll be back to try the a la carte menu next time. Also I loved the dessert! Get the matcha or the yuzu cheesecake!"
