"Everything was super clean and well taken care of, room had everything necessary including windows you could open properly. Lots of hot water. Short drive to Half Moon Bay. Great value for money."

"Nice and clean, good location and friendly staff. Why two stars? My RFID key kept failing, and I had to have it rescanned several times during my stay. I needed to check out early, stepped out to put some stuff in my car, and couldn't get back in to my room. The office isn't staffed until 7:30am. There's an "emergency" number, but it goes straight to voicemail. Finally, with no other options left I called the fire department, and they forced the door open so I could finally get back in to my room! What an incredible hassle! Harbor View Inn needs to fix the key system. Harbor View Inn needs to staff the office. Harbor View Inn needs to answer the emergency number!"

"Every member of the staff we spoke with was very helpful and accommodating. Easy to find location, updated room and bathroom. It was comfy, clean, and seemed like the rest of the rooms were in process of getting updated, too. We were happy with the room and location for the night as we drove down the coast - would stay here again."

"Newly renovated in 2001 disregard any reviews prior. Spacious rooms with nice bathrooms, plenty of lighting options, comfy bed, coffee, microwave and fridge. nice view on the second floor. Walkable to plenty of great dining. The cafe next door is great and so not miss Barbara’s Fishtrap. Really enjoyed this spot!"

"This is a great place to stay! Rooms are clean, modern, huge satellite TV, refrig. Microwave, plenty of outlets, sound proof windows, do not hear hwy 1 traffic, blackout curtains, comfy beds.. great shower. Staff is very nice. Tina at front desk was very helpful, and nice. Location is great. Right across street from harbor and walkable to beach."
