"I have been to Silverlake Ramen in Silverlake, and I must say, this location in San Diego did NOT disappoint! Friendly service, delicious food, and no wait to get seated at 12:45 PM on a Saturday during Labor Day weekend. My entire family and I enjoyed it! "I heard plenty good things about this ramen place before I tried it. I'd say it lives up to what people say about it. The food: the classic tonkotsu is delicious, the pork belly was tender but a bit salty. the noodles were chewy and yummy. I also got the crispy tuna rice as well. It was so well cooked, crunchy and so delicious! 10/10, I'd order both of it again! The service: the staff were great and attentive, the service was amazing but the vibe in the restaurant was just off. It was too bright and barely decorated. It felt sterile and cold hence the 4/5 stars."

"The BEST place to get ramen is you are looking for some quality Japanese food. I used to live in Japan and having tried a lot of ramen places in the US, this one by far tops every single one. Not only that but the staff is so nice and professional, it makes the food all the more delicious and enjoyable. Seriously 10 out of 10 would eat here again."

"I was a bit bummed when noodle and co was shut down. But this turned out better. Their Ramen is good and reasonably priced. I ordered the spicy ramen it was medium high in heat and perfect balance of liquid, noodle, protein ratio. There are some vegetarian choices too. Good to have a ramen in this area. Will recommend it to everyone who likes ramen."
