"I recently took my 1974 VW Thing to Mendo Customs for a complete paint job. The car had 50 year old original paint on it, with a variety of bumps, dents, and rust in various places. After they were done, it looked like a brand new car. I have never seen such professional work done, and they did everything right. They basically stripped the whole car down, took all the fenders, doors, lights, and bumpers off, sanded it down to metal, primered and painted the whole car. It now looks better than new.
