"Haven't been here since remodeled. Prices are good based on the area, and no need to pay tips because almost everything is self serve. However, service is ok but not every employee has good service. Food is good, and you have to self serve soy sauce or chili sauce etc. Porridge is still an excellent and big portion in my opinion. I like the Pork Chop and the black pepper sauce is the perfect match, and pork chops are not dry. Probably a place will come back for brunch."

"This is not a full service restaurant. Order up front and pick up your own food, get your own utensils, napkins, water… it has a food court atmosphere. The price however was a bit high for what you get. The porridge comes in a huge container but not much stuff in. The egg noodles smelled heavy lye water that made it unbearable to eat. I just had the braised beef. The dried scallops rice roll was absolutely overpriced. There were few very tiny bits of dried scallops on the rice roll. my appetite was not satisfied when I walked out of there. Probably won’t return."

"There was a line when we arrived, but we didn't wait long to order and find a seat, even get our food ready at the counter. The food is as delicious as usual at an affordable price. Their HK-style milk tea is the best I have ever had in California. They don't even require you to tip them since they are self-service style. You must try if you are around the area or just come grab an HK-style milk tea and go like me lol..."

"Been to Chan Kee in Diamond Bar a few times and I highly recommend this restaurant. The porridge is bomb- served in a cylindrical wooden bowl with Generous portion which easily serve 2-3 people. Service is quick and the place is very clean. Very reasonably priced for the quality and portion. Did I mention they don't accept tips for dine in?! That's a unicorn right there where most of the restaurants expect a minimum of 15 to 20% gratuity. If you feel like having an authentic Hong Kong style breakfast, this is the perfect place. Can't wait to try their new location in Monrovia next!"

"It was my first time to visit there. The restaurant is way bigger than though. The portion of the food is pretty big. There's a lot of selection on the menu. I will definitely come back again soon."
