Reviews of Mama Lu’s Dumpling House
"Bathroom was very dirty. Feces soiled tissue on floor and water. Sauted green beans had dried shrimp in it, gross. Singapore noodle under cooker and pressed pork. Staff did not have and gloves when handling pan fried noodles for togo order. Never again."
"Came here because it’s my friends favorite place to come. Good food. Big portion and very good price. We like to buy frozen dumplings to go. They are big dumplings and taste really good."
"I can't believe I'm the last one to find out about this new restaurant among my friends! I must say, I'm now a big fan of their pancakes. It's not just an ordinary pancake for me, but it tastes really good! The beef rolls had a flavor somewhat similar to the pancake, but I prefer the pancake more. I'd definitely give the pancake a 5-star rating! While I noticed that most tables were ordering fried rice, I opted for noodles instead. The udon noodles had the perfect sauce!"
"Finally in the City of Industry! Tried Mama Lu's beef rolls and egg rolls. Does it mean the key to Chinese food is rolling it up? Coz both rolls are so delicious! The eggplant is perfect with the garlic sauce. If u order their eggplant, make sure u also get their fried rice! one bite of eggplant plus a bite of rice... so YUM!!!"
"1. Clams and Baby Bok Choy: see photo and we haven't even touch it. It looks like half eaten. So when we politely asked the manager, he responded "that is the typical portion...of course it looks different than the photo, pretty sure your photos look better than you...don't talk to me just let me know if want to cancel or exchange it [while fanning his palms in front of my face]" 2. Sweet and Sour Chicken: it was so soggy as if these were last night's leftover and they are just put it in the microwave to reheat it 3. Seafood Pan Fried Noodle: they used a different type of noodle (these are thicker than the typical ones than photos shown) and it was under fried. Honestly, this is nothing like the Mama Lu in Monterey Park. The food and service are both nasty. No way in hell I would ever want to visit again."
