Donut Bar

"Had jury duty in Downtown San Diego and during the lunch break I came here right before Donut Bar closed. Ordered on of the Donuts to go, it was the Mud Pie. It had Oreo crumbles on the outside and then drizzles of Maple as well as cream. Overall nice donut and lived up to the hype of this place. Wish I could go back and try their other donuts. The ones that look interesting is the Big Poppa Tart or Nutella Overload."

"I had an event that our sweet treats were cancelled. I reached out to Donut Bar and they were able to help us a day before! Chris was extremely nice and helpful and assured me that everything would be handled. When I arrived to pick up the next morning everything was ready to go and the donuts he picked out were perfect for my event! Thank you to Chris and the team!"

"These are some of the better donuts I have had. The pap tart donut had an entire pop tart inside. The homer and the cake batter donuts were kind of simple yeast donuts but we're packed with huge flavor. All 3 donuts were excellent and well worth the money. We will be back next time we are in the San Diego area."

"I LOVE Donut Bar donuts! I remember meeting Chef Santiago a few years back and being introduced to these delicious roundos! They are super tasty, and I love them! I have ordered them for a few charity/adoption events my nonprofit Traci's Paws has hosted, and they've always been a huge hit! I love that he has added a few new things over the years, and my two faves are the French toast donuts and Grilled Cheese donuts! If you haven't had one, try them as soon as possible! I will mention that parking can be a little tight, and because these are world-renowned, there can be a wait at the door when it opens. So be sure to plan by parking down the street, taking a pleasant stroll, and being prepared to let your appetite build up as you wait. It will be MORE than worth it! Enjoy!"

"I stopped in while in the city for a day. If you like very large, super-sugary donuts in the style of VooDoo Donuts, this is your place. I’m more of a dough connoisseur. I like a very moist yeast donut or a dense cake donut with not a lot of toppings except thin icing. So for me, it was just okay. But I would try it again and go for an old-fashioned donut. I tried the salted caramel. It was a decent yeast donut but nothing special and I couldn’t taste the salt side of it."
