"Awesome Vespa sales and service location! Friendly staff that all seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs! Pleasure to do business with this team! Thank you!!"
"The workshop Videos on YouTube are second to none. Robot is the Vespa Guru with incredible instructional information for both old and modern Vespa"
"Great staff! Jeff helped me out with a spare mirror and basic installation for my motorcycle while awaiting a replacement mirror to get me back on the road. Also fixed my odometer cable. Thanks, Jeff!"
"I had a horrible experience with their sales team over the phone and in person. The sales guy up front is so rude and has a terrible business acumen. I won't go to far into my story and experience ... all I have to say is ... go to the Sherman oaks dealer he's a lot more classy, knowledgable, honest and respectable. This is in response to TC's comments below. We called Friday morning to inquire about the bike and spoke to a representative who was not knowledgable at all regarding the bike. He took our number down and told us TC would call by the end of the day. Since we did not receive a call by near days end, we called again and manage to get TC on the phone. Our conversation last a good 10 minutes regarding the bicks specs, condition and we agreed on a price of 3400 dollars cash/check. We told you that we would come on Saturday afternoon. On the phone you acknowledge this and said that you are often very busy around 12-2, so we may have to wait for a while. We arrived to the shop at 2 pm after a 2 hour drive from OC. Upon entering the shop you told us that you had sold the vehicle 15 minutes prior. It was then when you told us that you offer a non-refundable hold of 500 dollars. No mention of this "offer" was made to us on the phone on Friday despite us negotiating on a price and telling you that we would come to your shop. If we were offered a hold we would have paid it. How are we to know your policies? You need to inform people as different dealers have different policies. If you were a decent sales person you would have offered us the hold to see how serious we were. Additionally you could have let us know that the bike was sold as you had our phone number. Regardless, this is not about the bike being sold, it's about how we were treated. You offered us nothing, had no remorse and didn't even have the business acumen to show us other bikes. We came back into the shop to potentially look at new bike options and ask to put our name down on a list so if a used bike were to come around we would be notified (by the way Vespa Sherman oaks offers this). You offered nothing and said there was no way of notifying me of used bikes. After I challenged you about your protocol of notifying customers in general, you stood up and threw your hands in the air and said "my wife also thinks I'm an idiot". Your behavior and demeanor initiated everything. This is when I got upset as it was a poor customer service experience altogether."
"I like modern retro vehicles for their timeless classic looks and with the latest technology. I have a late model Mini Cooper and Triumph Bonneville motorcycle. Being in the market for a scooter, a Vespa would fit right in. After visiting several motorcycle dealerships and doing a ton of research, I decided to checkout Vespa Motorsports and I’m so glad I did! While researching scooters, “Vespa Motorsport” kept coming up and they have a series of Videos on YouTube. They’re located close to the airport central to San Diego and after looking at their website, discovered they also have an amazing history. Vespa Motorsport is much larger than I anticipated. They have rows of scooters parked out front and their showroom is filled with scooters and Vespa nostalgia. I appreciated not being attacked by a high pressure sales person the second I walked in as I did at some of the motorcycle dealerships I visited. At Vespa Motorsport I was allowed to peruse for several minutes before I met TC, whom merely suggested if I have any questions, to let him know. TC is personable, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He was very patient as I asked a lot of questions and shared many thoughts. TC gave me sincere honest feedback and he made me feel like we were old friends. I never felt pressured, but then again he may have noticed the constant grin on my face and maybe a little drool as I admired the many new, used, styles, colors and customized scooters displayed around their facility. It was close to closing time, but I never felt rushed and was being tempted for a test ride. A Vespa Primavera 150 75th anniversary edition kept drawing me in though TC gave me an “in my garage” price for several scooters I was eye balling. I said I would come back the next day for a test ride and that I’m still thinking about scooters at other dealerships, but in my mind there was no doubt I wasn’t going shopping anywhere else and I was going to buy a scooter from TC at Vespa Motorsport. The following day I called TC and told him I wanted the 75th anniversary edition at the price we discussed so to get it ready for pickup. Paperwork, signatures, initials , cash, bing, bang, boom, I’ve got myself a new Vespa scooter with absolutely no regrets or second guessing in mind. An older gentleman comes out to give me a gift for purchasing a scooter from them and I’m honored to meet the owner Alex. We discuss my new scooter and some accessories I’m interested in and I realize that Alex is simply one of the nicest most down to earth people you could meet. Like TC, my sales rep, it’s readily apparent that Alex is also extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Every time I look at my Vespa scooter and take it for a spin, I think how perfect it is. With crazy gas prices, this scooter gets 100 MPG. It’s fun to ride, provides plenty of wind protection with the windshield mine had pre installed and purrs nice and quiet so not to disturb anyone in my townhouse complex. The storage under the seat and the additional storage I added to the seat rack and this scooter can replace 80% of my need for a car. Not to mention all the compliments I get everywhere I go, even when sitting at a stop light. There were some used Vespa’s at other motorcycle dealerships, but Vespa Motorsport had brand new Vespa’s selling for less! I also discovered that their parts and accessories department, ScooterWest.com, is known internationally for having hard to find Vespa parts and the best scooter accessories. BTW, I was going to buy several parts and accessories from Amazon but scooterwest.com was less expensive, I can see the parts first hand, ask questions and let’s not forget about the instant gratification as opposed to waiting for delivery. I highly recommend Vespa Motorsport to anyone looking for a scooter, especially a Vespa, scooter parts and accessories. Alex, TC and their staff are the best, no ifs, ands or buts. Update: I love Vespa Motorsports so much I bought another Vespa from them. Thanks again Alex, TC and Robot for my new baby, a Blue GTS!!!"
