The Toss Up,

"Love love love this place! Today i also discovered that they are less busy during the after-work rush hour, after i tried three other places nearby which were packed (and not as good). The Toss Up always serves such great food; I’ve tried their salads, soup & they also have great “loaded” baked potatoes. I haven’t yet tried their pasta dishes or açaí bowls. The staff is very friendly and their kitchen looks SPOTLESS. My husband and I really appreciate the consistent quality of food & customer service! Will definitely be back."

"So I'm from out of town and came to visit family. They took me to this place, and baaaby..... I will most definitely make this one of my stops every time I visit. They welcome you when you first come in. The owner came out and greeted us as well and told me about their menu. Give me a few samples of their drinks. Their smoothies are awesome! I had the broccoli and cheese potato bowl and added chicken and bacon with sour cream on the side... OMG!! Yes!! Sooo good! My son ordered a kids meal which was a barbecue chicken wrap with honey mustard sauce on the side. He said this was the best wrap he ever had. This place was so good that I went back before I left to go get on the plane and got two more potatoes and a wrap to take home with me. They also have vegan stuff too I tried it. But if you're ever in California try this place out It's super good!"

"Forget everything you think you know about exceptional service. My fiance and I were out running errands on a Saturday. Decided to stop and grab a salad. To our amazement they were closed. Huh? Wait...we could see a man and a woman inside. The woman comes to the door and says...sorry we have some high level business to attend to but if you would like something to eat I'm happy to prepare it for you. Well of course we ordered. My fiance had the shrimp loaded potato. Literally two meals in one. So much food. I had the Baja salad. Yum! You get pita bread that has caramelized onions laced through the bread. Wow! The idea that a closed business would open its doors to serve (2) people blows my mind. This kind of service doesn't exist. We were so totally grateful and the food was amazing. I'm a customer for life!"

"When finding a healthy alternative, it not only tastes good but service is superb! Area: located straight ahead of the 91 freeway, less than a mile to get there. In Gardena. Parking: has a big parking structure so parking is always available. Diner: inside is spacious. Has a chill vybe music is very enjoyable. Rare to find a spot that plays some Brentwood. 10/10. Food. We ordered their Texas house salad but got it a wrap. I highly recommend it. Dressing tossed with everything just hits differently. Very flavorful 10/10. My spouse got there ahi tuna rice bowl. Bomb! Flavor combination is phenomenal. We shared their famous clam chowder. Must try!!! Service: it was our first time, and a Gentelmen approached us to ask if we needed help. The attentive that person gave us is what all restaurants must thrive for. The help and knowledge he gave us explaining the menu is what makes people want to try everything on the menu, lol. Price. In total, everything was under $50 dollars including their homemade organic ice teas. Will recommend for someone looking for something light and not to heavy.."

"They have been here for approximately 18 months. The food is good, healthy. The atmosphere is good. The restaurant is clean. The wait staf was very nice. I will come back."
