"The atmosphere of this place is really cool. Loved that the best. I think the food is overpriced. The drinks were really good, but the food reminds me of bar food but with restaurant prices. I think for what you get and the quality I expected better. I was happy to come here and try it out, but honestly I don't think we will be returning. They only had two staff working the bar and floor. It's not a big place but it was weird to receive our appetizer after our entrees were served. The food was fairly oily. We got the lobster Mac and cheese and it was very very oily. The pastrami sandwich was good, but not worth $18. The crab artichoke dip tastes good, but the bread served with it was hard like a rock and almost like croutons. Not nearly enough provided to eat all the dip either so we had to take that home so we can dip something else in it. Personally if it were $5 cheaper per dish I would come back but 2 people and a $120 bill for 2 cocktails, one appetizer, and two dishes is a bit absurd for mediocre food."

"Had a wonderful first experience here at Joliet. Such a warm atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Shared the baked crab dip appetizer, the lobster roll with chips and the Caesar salad. Plenty of food for 2, and everything is made in-house and was amazing! Only thing missing was the ability to have an after-dinner coffee. Please make that possible! Otherwise, this is THE perfect, hidden gem of a place!"

"Service here was terrific, definitely attentive and five stars. Atmosphere is dark, warm, and wonderful, although a little bit noisy when busy because the sound bounces off the walls. Food is solid but some of the dinner dishes are a little too small for a big appetite. You definitely want to include an appetizer or two."
