Reviews
"The vibe was great, our server was attentive and friendly, the food I ordered was okay, the shrimp was over cooked in the shrimp scampi and Mac & cheese with shrimp. The fish & chips was great, fresh and not over battered. The lemonade was good, just a little on the sweet side. Over all the experience was nice."
"Jambayla was and heavenly shrimp was good. Atmosphere is fun but the place gets really busy. Waiters are bussing their own tables and have to go downstairs to empty dishes. Need double the bussing staff and then the servers will have more time and energy to entertain. View of the pier during the day which is nice. The souvenirs cup lights up with logo. Pretty cool! We didn’t get any trivia questions at our table . A little expensive for what you get but better than the one at the Mall of America."
"The restaurant does not live up to the hype. Even though I ate my meal directly on the Pacific ocean shoreline, I couldn't tell if the seafood was fresh or not. Nothing was incredible. I did spend less than what I had expected, but the food was comparable to Red Lobster; just with more of a Cajun twist. The calamari, battered fish, and shrimp scampi were all decent. I don't feel like it didn't get what I paid for, but I would've gladly paid more for better food. It was a fun experience seeing the Forrest Gump references, but I probably will not return."
"Located right by the Santa Monica Pier, seemed to have a waitlist for bigger parties but I was just by myself and sitting by the bar so I didn't have to wait to get in, they had these beautiful window seats with a great view of the beach, didn't have to wait long for the food and drinks for too long on a Sunday. And I think they offer dessert for birthday since a saw a table who was celebrating their birthday. Nice vacation vibe within Los Angeles. I love shrimp gumbo I think it’s a must have item there."
