"All the seafood is super fresh and delicious. The mussels are by far the best mussels that I have ever had because they are cooked perfectly and the broth isn’t just a regular buttery garlic sauce. It’s super flavorful. The rest of the food is just outstanding. They gave me a key lime pie for my “early” birthday. My mom is leaving the USA after visiting me here. It’s probably the first time in 25 years that I could celebrate my birthday with her even though it’s an early birthday. I really appreciate the dessert. Thank you so much!!!!"

"Great place for some delicious lunch to enjoy by the beach. I came by for the clam chowder but was completely pleased with lunch. Definitely have oysters and try the lobster rolls! The hand rolls are definitely a must try before a meal at Blue Plate Oysterette."

"This joint is in a great location, can't imagine what they must pay for rent. That would at least explain the need to charge $18 for the grilled artichoke- which, don't get me wrong, it's excellent. The cocktail shrimp and oysters are also delicious. Order any of the chilled seafood dishes and you won't regret it."

"We stopped by here right after going to the bungalow and the oysters on people’s tables looked good. I got a dozen oysters, fancy set(lobster, scallop & toro), crab and fried oyster hand rolls. The oysters were phenomenal, very fresh and delicious. The fancy set was also delicious and the lobster was my favorite. The crab was also great but the fried oyster was better. Overall it was a great dining experience. The color of the food is a little off because there was a blue light in the outside dining area. I’d definitely come back again and they their other menu items. Customer service was great by Jason and it was an overall great dining experience."

"Tried the dine LA menu, and loved it! Service was super fast and all the food tasted great. The first course was clam chowder which was light but packed with flavor and really celebrated the flavor of clams. The lobster roll is enormous and comes with a heap of fries. I had the hand roll combo which is great for anyone looking for a flavorful meal without huge portions. Overall I was very impressed and would like to return and try the regular menu."
