"This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant. Their food is pretty good, and their carnitas are flavorful and juicy. Their service was okay, because our assigned waitress was not really paying attention to us, but another lady was nice enough to help us. Overall recommend this place."
"My wife and I came here to eat dinner with my sister. I made reservations ahead of time before coming here. We arrived exactly at the reservation time when checking in with the host. They didn't have anyone dining inside but a couple of people dining outside so my wife wanted to eat there. We got a nice table near their glass viewing and it was in the shade. The first waiter came with water for us and then someone else came with the chips. We thought the chips and the salsa was good, the chips were fresh and warm. Then a waitress came to take our order and my wife got her red chicken Mole while I got the Arrachera steak at medium rare. It didn't long for our food to come out and it also came with tortilla too. My wife really loved her chicken Mole and said it was her all time favorite. I thought my steak at medium rare was tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. I was going to get fries instead of the chicken Enchilada but my wife wanted it so I kept it as is. My wife didn't really like the chicken Enchiladas and I didn't bother to try it. The service was very slow after we got our food. I had to wait a while to get a refill on my drink and then to ask for box. The waiter who brought us water was just chatting with another guest at their table and I could never get his attention. Our waitress barely came to check on us and I had to flag her down to get the check. We would come back but I hope the service will be better if we dined inside."
"Want to have a bite maybe a few margaritas while shopping around!? This is your place. We had lunch here today while picking up some stuff at the local shops at Topanga Village. There is plenty space outdoors with heathers so you can enjoy the beautiful crispy days while people watching. We brought our dog with us and he was able to chill next to us while we ate as there is plenty space (pet friendly) @journeythruflavors FYI you have to pay for parking at the Topanga Village. This is the thing I don’t get as I would think you would want to make it easier for customers to come."
"It was a very good experience. They are so nice and the food was great. Their Steak Fajitas were amazing as well as their tacos. I recommend the mixed steak Fajitas (chicken and beef). The staff were so kind and the price was so reasonable. The environment was so chill and this place is a good place for group party. You may need to reserve for a party bigger than 8 persons. I recommend it. Thank you Xoc Tequila Grill."
"It comes down to customer service & they DO NOT HAVE IT. Front of house doesn’t treat you like a guest & it’s such a bad look. The atmosphere feels like it’s run by bratty, disorganized children. No regard for customer satisfaction to be found. I think the manager made eye contact with me and quickly darted away at least four times in my last visit here. They do not have a well trained team for a dinner rush at all. It was an evening of drinks I never received and a waiter we couldn’t find. What’s worse & humiliating about this last experience is that I brought friends here, who said that they didn’t like the restaurant to begin with… and I regularly come here, so I’d promised them that it would be a good experience and boy was I wrong. I’m not sure what changes they have made in the last six months but this place has gone majorly downhill. It’s totally inappropriate that my server brought me the wrong drink and then for 20 minutes after didn’t bring me a drink at all. Then when it came time for the check, it had no reflection on the very obvious upset at our table. The bitter taste in my mouth over the inattentive service team ruined the dining experience overall & I don’t think I’ll be able to convince my friends to come here ever again - & to be honest, I don’t think I’d want to either. Thanks for a Friday nite bust of an evening. Though this setting should be the default, on-brand, high caliber experience, I think there are better Mexican restaurants in the area with accountable service. People with long hair- do not wash your hair before coming here. The fajitas smoke the entire restaurant out every time. Your clothes will also leave smelling like burning oil. How have they not figured this out yet?"
