"I can’t begin to describe how delicious and unique this food is. It’s our new favorite spot in La Mesa. We already told all our friends and family about this place before we finished eating, it was that good. You can tell this chef earned his Michelin star. Wow."

"Such a cute spot! Love they have a rotating menu for proteins of the day so you know they take time sourcing the best meat. They were so friendly and helpful with our 1 year old. Love that they actually have a kids menu that is not chicken nuggets or french fries. Everything we got was so delicious. Will definitely be back for the mole chciken. The rib meat just fell off the bone. I also really like the steak that they had that was better than a brisket."

"This place I came across and it looked nice with a good interior, so I came in with my family and asked the waiter to get whatever was best. This burger was filled with a lot of stuff and this burger was the best I’ve had because it was unique and really different. San Diego doesn’t have much burger places that really surprise me but this one did"

"Wandered in to see who took over the Boss Bird location. Mind is blown. The carnitas plate (smoky red rice and wedge salad with fresh flour tortillas) was excellent. The pickled onions were to die for. Also had the chicken and it was excellent, as well. Sad that they were out of ribs. The owner is a really nice guy and I hope they make a good, long run here. And the prices are reasonable. Two thumbs way up."

"Swung by this restaurant between appointments and I was pleasantly surprised. I am a HUGE mole fan. To see a "mole bbq chicken" item on the menu meant I had to try it out. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the smokiness was present, and the bbq/mole wasn't too overpowering. Can't wait to be back soon!"
