Havana Grill

"I was blown away with The Hot Cuban!!! My wife and I heard the owner of the Havana Grill on the radio as we were headed to Yuma, Az and planned on coming here upon our return. When we left Yuma we headed straight to the Havana Grill and arrived right at opening. We sat at the bar and we were greeted by Ms Sofia who was an absolute joy to talk to and learn about the menu from. My wife ordered two sandwiches, The El Cubano and the Crazy Cubano. And I of course ordered The Hot Cuban. All sandwiches were Amazing and fresh and the plantain chips were a perfect compliment. Ms Sofia made us some Fantastic drinks and we had such a good time that we came back the next day to try other items on the menu and to see Ms Sofia. We showed up the next day and sat at the same spot at the bar and made Sofia's day. This time I tried Oxtail for the first time and my wife tried the Ropa Vieja. We were both pleased once again! We also ordered the Cuban bread and the garlic potato mash with pork cracklings. We also tried different drinks as well and Sofia didn't disappoint. She was also kind enough to let us try the Cuban coffee which she told us was a tradition after a meal. If we didn't have to fly back to Seattle, we'd probably visit the Havana Grill a few more times. Make it a must to visit if you live here or on vacation."

"It was awesome! As soon as walked in we were greeted! Service was top notch! The atmosphere was bright and lively. Resembles you in Havana, eating at an inner courtyard! The Fricase de Pollo was so tasty, it comes with bread you can deep into the juices! We also ordered the Mango Citrus Salmon, you can see tell it was Wild caught all organic ingredients! Flavors with the mango salsa and cilantro were perfect! My daughter had the Chicken and Vegetable soup, for a picky Eater she surprised me! She loved it! Will definitely recommend it! Will be bringing more family soon! This place will be on our top list!"

"Great place, does give you a Cuban or Caribbean vibe. Just DON'T arrive before closing because you will make you feel like they want you to go so they can leave. I understand them, but they should have a cutoff time so they don't have to push you out mopping. Food is excellent, and portions are perfect! But lacks a bit of presentation."

"From the bright atmosphere to the bustling bar and cafe area, so do not sleep or walk to Havana Grill - run!!! The empanadas were amazingly flakey and delicious. We tried one of every flavor and there’s certainly vegetarian options if you need it. You order first at the counter and then take your buzzer to any open table if you plan to dine in. All the staff are super kind and welcoming. I loved the decor as it feels you’re sitting at a cafe or bistro by the street."
