"This is my favorite bar in Santa Barbara and I doubt that will ever change. Miss the chongo shot but the espresso shot and a Bay of Santiago will always and forever hit the spot. Every. Single. Time. Everyone who works here are professionals and friendly. Never ever had less then a stellar time."

"This is a great spot. the bar area is pretty nice and the space is pretty open. there is some seating out front on state st which is nice if you want to people watch. This place is on lower state st. It also shares a space with broad street oyster company. This is like the 2nd or 3rd place that has turned over in there. Used to be modern times. Surprisingly, the burger at broad street is pretty good. Its pretty small too. Shaker mill is a nice place to come to every now and then. The long tables are nice for gatherings with friends. Not sure how popular it is these days. Seems like it was more popular in the past."

"Amazing Cuban food. I ordered the Plato Mixto so I could try a variety of their food. Each item was thoughtfully and meticulously prepared. The mojo pork roast was tender and delicious, the black beans were savory, the avocado salad was tangy, the maduros were cinnamonly sweet, but the crispy yet delicate yucca fries, with the garlic cohoyo dipping sauce, were the star of the show."

The food from Cubaneo located inside Shaker Mill is delicious! Really incredible and at a great price point for Santa Barbara! Love the decor and music. Bartenders are knowledgeable and very friendly. Open for lunch and dinner. They said they are open until 1:00 am with food until then."
